At SSRX, it all comes down to gear ratio and staying in the draft. Oh, and not swerving all over the place to bump drivers out of the slipstream.

Quite in here huh?

Well I haven't updated Stats yet. I started to this morning and then realized there was more work to do with them all and tomorrow we race again. So I will update everything. BIG UPDATE! Next week, probably early next week, tuesday or wednesday the latest.

But from looking at what I have done:.

Phoenix has tied KBM for All-Time Wins (2 wins) for a Team with Spurgy's controversial Monza Win. I have to admit, stats are delayed because I couldn't find myself the strength to add this race to our stats/history. But I have accepted it and I'm sure all else has to by now. So time to move on and award the respected drivers properly.

This also brings Chevy to a tie with Toyota for All-Time Wins by a Manufacturer at 6 wins. And puts Furinkazen into the books with his first recorded win as Team Owner of Phoenix. This also ties him with Crazy_Bassist at 1 win.

Spurgy's win also adds another notch on the belt for the #14. This car has 5 wins (3 Trynor - S1 / 1 RFLX - S1 / 1 Spurgy777 - S2. This car is dominating with two wins over the 2010#83 (2 Grinols - S2 / 1 Litchi - S1).

That's about all that has changed from the outcome of R#3! All the rivalry stuff and records mentioned weeks prior (post R#2) about Trynor & Grinols is still very much all in play. Unfortunately Trynor may be missing the rest of the series. So if Grinols keeps pace, he may be the new all-around record holder in this series before it's over. Good thing SSRX is a crap shoot and no real skill needs to win this race. Just tune your car to go fast and drive straight and watch bumping in the corners. Key to this weeks race is patience and survival!

I sure hope for the life of me that all be patient and race clean.

Interesting the 2010 cars have so many wins, its top speed is 0.1 mph lower, its 1 mile standing start is about 3/100ths off the 2011 model Nascars.

Actually if you put the (fill in the blank ) all the way down in the suspension, the 2010's have more top speed due to the (fill in the blank) being lower on these models over the 2011's.

Can you fill in the blank? If you can, then you will find out your statement is actually the exact opposite. But what you said is true with an exact tune off a 2011 slapped on a 2010.

My controller finally kicked the bucket, how obvious since the race is tomorrow. I can get a new controller, but that's after the race. :banghead:

I should be back before the Cup race, so maybe I can find a ride for that.

GTP Nascar Nationwide Series

Round 4: Aarons 131.7

Special Stage Route X

Leaving behind the madness in Monza, the Nationwide stars make their first start of the season at the ultra high-speed Special Stage Route X, where winners will be determined by their patience, attention span, timing, teamwork and luck. This race is only 7 laps long, so pitting shouldn't be required, letting drivers set up their cars to go as fast as possible.

This race sees a special qualifying and start procedure, identical to that of the Sprint Cup:

-The bonus point for Pole will be determined by a 1 lap shootout race. Winner take all. This will take place at exactly 12:20 EDT (4:20 UTC, 5:20 BST) If you miss the start, oh well. We're not waiting on anybody.

-There will be no formation lap. The race will be set to a rolling start, and once the race starts, go. Qualifying means literally nothing here, except for the bonus point.

Nationwide Power Rankings after Round 3:

1. Grinols: A mediocre race at Monza finally showed some chinks in his armour, but he still maintains almost a full race lead in the points, with drops yet to be calculated in. RAB seems to have the best teamwork out of anyone, which should help his cause at SSRX.
Trending: STEADY

2. Spurgy Mustardaddict: Rich was much better than what his 6th place finish showed at Monza, being the best of the 2-stoppers by far. A certain threat on the 3 remaining twisty tracks. RAB seems to have the best teamwork out of anyone, which should help his cause at SSRX.
Trending: STEADY

3. OwensRacing: The fastest "clean" driver at Monza, a late spin left him in 5th, when he had a small chance of catching up to 3rd. Hopefully the bad luck that plauged him at Daytona doesn't come back at it's "sister" track.
Trending: STEADY

4. neljack: Eliminate Daytona, bonus points, and penalties from the points total, and neljack ties mustardaddict for the lead. A very strong run at Monza, despite the penalty, which has lead his Team Owner, Carbonox, to give him some seat time in the Sprint Cup. If he can keep this hotstreak going tomorrow, he'll for sure have put his name in the running for the series championship.
Trending: UP

5. TRYNOR88: The champ's had a lot of bad luck to start the season, and needs to reverse that quickly if he wants a shot at defending his title. But with late breaking news that he wont be making the trip to SSRX, it might be too late now...

Because if you didn't go jump to Sprint Cup, that's where you'd be.
