Personal thing that will be resolved privately. Apologies for highjacking the thread.

Dexterwhite disconnects.

This is Dexter_White5150 here....this is my account NAGT5nascar.

Race was fun. I was working with crazy and rflx to get back on pace after the big wreck and then I did get disconnected. Sucked but thats racing.

The Qualifying wreck was my fault. I had never entered a turn at SSRX in months and I had RFLX setup that I have never drove and when I entered my chassis snapped my car high and fast and bumped the guy high to me casuing him to wreck.

Appoligize for that wreck.

Good race tho glad to be racing with you cats.

Alright, so regarding neljack's disconnection:

I can only go by what I see. I saw on the replay neljack driving straight into the wall that separates the track from the pits. In my judgement, if he didn't disconnect, he would have had to have backed up, then limped across the finish line. Mustardaddict was close enough that he would have passed neljack doing this, and take 7th. The group of Crazy_Bassist_83, RFLX_Niop and FraiserCrane were too far back to have passed him before he would have crossed the line.

So we have two options:

a) Place neljack in 8th, behind mustardaddict and infront of Crazy
b) Place neljack in 12th, as he did disconnect. He would finish ahead of the other disconnections (GTP_Akmuq and Dexter_White5150), but behind Dragonwhisky, the last running car on the track.

When someone disconnects they appear to drive straight on, regardless of weather their is a wall or not and then leave, so he was probably not going to go into the wall, so, in my opinion, it should be the last position he was realistically going to get, weather it was behind mustard or not I can't say.

I agree with Akmuq, ignore the driving into the wall bit, I would just imagine he coasted from when he lost connection.

Also, if anyone is interested I have a series up under the GTP NASCAR banner. Only 5 confirmed drivers so far so plenty of room.

GTP NASCAR All Star Series

Okay, let me put it this way:

Is there anyone who objects to neljack being put in 7th? Speak now or forever hold your peace.

The way I see it, there was absolutely no way he'd have fallen anywhere below 7th/8th by coasting for the last couple meters.

That's why I'm asking if anyone sees it differently.

On my screen id have easily made it, I was round the bend when I DC'd, but as you say you go by what you see.

Obviously its only over a few points and I had fun all the same so 7th/8th doesnt matter :P. But...............I think it should be 7th 👍 :P

EDIT: Basically what Akmuq/Carb and Spurg said, should have read the comments 1st :banghead:

Dexter_white5150 will be the full-time driver in the #88 for the remainder of the season.

Lap Leaders:

mustardaddict: Lap 1
Grinols: Laps 2-3, 6
OwensRacing: Lap 4, 7
D4LVY_: Lap 5

Most Laps Led: Grinols (3)

Incidents

Lap 2: Chqr gets a good lag bump from Dexter, but proceeds to swerve up, and chop off neljack's nose, triggering The Big One. Chqr drives off in the lead pack unharmed, while almost everyone else behind him is involved. Complete and utter lack of awareness by Chqr. Probably could have been avoided by having is map zoomed in to 2. But really, that shouldn't have happened. A big wreck on a straight is almost always the result of a brainfreeze by 1 driver, and this is no exception. If Chqr himself was actually spun out, he'd probably only get a minor penalty, but he drove away unharmed, so no.

Decision: Moderate penalty for "Causing an avoidable collision." 3 Driver and Team points docked.

No more Trynor? That sucks that he won't be able to defend his NW Championship.
