If you do not like let me know I will remove it.

Mark, awesome work dude, great to watch and hope to see more of them.

Wish I had the balls to do something like that myself.

Favourite part? Hmmm let's see, I like to start it at 4:20 :sly:

Why are people never online when needed :banghead:

Going to be a busy day tomorrow.

Respect to Dexter for saying how it is, you couldn't have said it better about Furi . "He likes to go 3 wide" (Then wreck things :sly:)

I was practicing with Grinols earlier tonight. Ran 52.7's without draft. Is that a good time?

I've not been online since the last race. :sly: I imagine Grinols is doing good laps seeing as how he's fast+ has the 2011 model which is a hair faster than 2010.

Ahhh don't let him fool you!!! Storm was running 52.5's!
I've only raced at Indy a handful of times. Was really hoping to get some practice in with more cars, and for a longer run, but didn't work out like I had hoped. Anyone gunna be doing some practice from now, until anytime within the next 5 hours?

And the '10 I tested, was running nearly identical lap times to the '11 with the same setup. /shrug

GTP Nascar Nationwide Series

Round 5: AMP Energy 150

Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Though fairly quiet in the thread, as the teams head to the legendary Brickyard for the first time, unconfirmed reports of infighting and drama between drivers of one of the top teams has been going on behind closed doors which could drastically change the landscape on the track. How it resolves is yet to be confirmed, but rumors are swirling about a top driver ready to announce a team change shortly before the green flag. That's all I'll say about the matter until a formal announcement is made in the thread.

Oh yeah, a 60 lap race is taking place, and will be the last race before possible physics changes to GT5 throw every setup completely out the window.

Nationwide Power Rankings after Round 4:

1. Grinols: Three podiums out of 4 races. That's all that needs to be said, frankly. Tried to go for the win at SSRX, but still ended up 3rd.
Trending: STEADY

2. OwensRacing: An incredible run through turn 4 after almost crashing in turn 3 sees Jeff break through and score his first Nascar series win. He performed well at the preseason race at his home track, and has raced here many time before, so don't be surprised if he makes it 2 in a row.
Trending: UP

3. mustardaddict: A couple of bad breaks at SSRX topped off by being unable to run down a car with a blown engine out of turn 4 on the last lap. Look for him to bounce back at Indy
Trending: DOWN

4. D4LVY_: Benefited greatly by being at the front with his teammates when The Big One happened and took home 2nd. Solidly 3rd in points, but consistency might be an issue.
Trending: UP

5. gokartman: Despite being involved in the Big One, he was able to work his way up and still finish 4th. Like neljack, he's building a nice run of solid results.
Trending: UP

6. neljack (steady)
7. Crazy_Basisst_83 (steady)
8. smuffyatfcp (steady)
9. Chqr (up)
10. FraiserCrane (steady)

I'm ready. I won't nearly be as aggressive today knowing what trouble I landed myself last week. 👍

I would but people are not online ore replying... :grumpy:

Frasiers away today.

Major changes at Phoenix Racing from today. Phoenix Racing owner Furinkazen has given the team access to his Sprint Cup workshops normally used for Stewart-Ganassi Racing. This is hoped will improve the competitiveness of the team.

On a driver front, changes are coming. Spurgy will cover today at Indianapolis in place of FrasierCrane in the 2011 #14 in a one-off appearence. Itsvanilla shifts into the 2010 #14 car for the rest of the season, and Phoenix Racing are very close to signing ex Red Bull driver and Nationwide championship leader Grinols in the 2011 #42 for the rest of the season. This will hopefully be sorted in time for todays race at Indianapolis.

Once Grinols come online and signs on to his new team, I will be filling in for the empty NW spot and try to fill it some time during the week.

The changes to phoenix re garages set ups will come in after this weekend.

I'm don't have a clue what that last announcement is on about, I should really follow this series more closely.

Our points leader had a falling out with his team. I can give you more details later. Would be a good article documenting all that happened.

Ah right, if you can fill me in later I'll be happy too.

Good race on the cards tonight. Lag wasn't too bad last week and it was SSRX so in theory the race should be tickety-boo :)
