I don't think throwing out a 60 lap race's results is a good idea. It was a lot of time invested, just to have it count for nothing. If you want that race to count less overall, just add a sixth points-paying event. Add a road course race in the middle of the schedule. I would suggest a higher-speed, flatter, less-technical track, something like Indy/HSR/Monza/Suzuka East, as the trucks will not handle changes in banking or sharp turns very well. Laguna Seca and Daytona Road would be disasters in trucks.

True about the pts. May as well count. High Speed Ring is an idea, forgot that track.

Its funny how the result gives me -59 Laps / DNF. I didnt even pass the start/finish line and i got disconnected. :D But ill take the point on this aweful evening.

By the way, i tried joining a friend's lounge and i still had problems with my connection. I need to call the provider. Im starting to get pissed! The thing is i have an 8mb connection. Isn't that fast enough for modern times?

I'd love the High Speed Ring, we could turn right for a while  I think 2 races in both Daytona and Indy are enough.

High Speed Ring seems to be more popular...

Just saying, I would change my vote from Indy to High Speed Ring if possible.

Yup, High Speed Ring would be wonderful. I chose the Daytona Infield. Just so we can keep the series in 'USA'. :D

High Speed Ring sounds good. BTW if anyone needs a truck, I have a few spare in my garage, including a Tacoma and Ford... link in my sig

So Next race is Indy on Saturday! High Speed Ring shall go in as Race 3!

I think the closest power limit is 739hp, off the top of my head.

Then you just need to take off parts :)

What is actually better, taking off lots of parts to decrease the HP, or bring it down using the power limiter as much as possible?

It depends on the track IMO, certain parts give u only a few HP so I take those off and go for engine power. Other parts give u lots of HP, I usually go with a sports air filter n exhaust. I always use stock converter. No catalytic for me as it kills your torque n only gives u a few hp. But generally I don't like going below 90% engine limiter. On a big wide open track with long straights u r better off adding 200kg of ballast at 0 position and using full engine power n whatever parts are suitable. But say a small track with technical turns u would want as light a possible with lower power n almost no tuning parts. See there is a little give or take to be given.

I add as much power as I can first, then use the power limiter to bring it back down. I would rather make max power as early as possible in the power band than to slowly build up to the same number.

Any chance of putting the new restrictions (BHP and Weight) in the OP? Took me a while to find them.

Didn't check but is the new schedule now updated and correct?

Bump btw :scared:

So we need the new restrictions up and some testing/practice sessions up. I don't think we are going to be pros at Indy especially if Daytona was a little hairy.

No probs mate, I was too tired by 11:00 so had to turn it off though.

However, think I have a one stop strategy sorted, just not sure of my lap times, but wonder if that's going to be a significant factor in this race.

There going to be a hell of a lot of wall scraping in these, in race conditions. :scared:

Apologies for not updating, been real busy of late. Rules are indeed 1500kg and 739hp. Hope to see ya all tomorrow for Indy!
