What happened? Quick summary.

A wild 6 car battle in the last turn. I was leading out last turn sideways Akmuq won.

I see some unhappy people though.

Let's just say that while my view on cautions is unchanged, the free pass rule needs tons of tweaking.

Chris caused a wreck with me by lagging near the end. This resulted in a caution, which in turn allowed some cars that had just pitted to catch up again (I had yet to make a pitstop). On top of it all, Chris got the free pass even though he was the one to blame for the caution (yeah yeah, there was lag involved most likely, but that doesn't change things for the better, lag is always unacceptable) and got 8th place literally for free while I was forced to fight my arse off for 9th. I expect a penalty to follow because free passes just can't work in such an unfair manner. If there's a wreck in real life NASCAR which is caused by a driver who is a lap down, and that driver gets a free pass during the caution, would you think that driver really has the right to get on the lead lap?

Also, does this mean that if I'm lapped in the next race, I'm allowed to deliberately wreck Spurgy coming to lap me, and I even get the free pass for the caution?

First caution, was not mean't to be a caution. Akmuq spins, Kartman hits the side of him, slows him down but in no way spins him, so he decides to put his handbrake on and spin himself to make a "caution". Second one was Chris lag spiking into Carb and Kartman. Then, last corner last lap I'm in the lead, I go defensive and get divebombed by Akmuq, putting me down to 5th. So in the end, the people who won should have never been in contention. Really pissed me off because I pulled off a great strategy.

In NASCAR, any driver that causes the caution is not allowed to receive a free pass during the same caution period. In these instances, no driver is awarded a free pass if the first guy a lap down is not eligible. This rule has been enforced several times in actual NASCAR races.

Since you guys don't have access to replays during the race, the only real way to fix it would be to penalize the lucky dog driver a lap, to put him back to where he would have been had the rule been applied correctly.

Or disable cautions after people start to pit and begin their strategy. Or the race just comes down to who has the best tires on the last few laps. Which is what happened today.

don't know what was up with my strategy tonight, didn't stick to one which didn't help, also lag once again wanted to show up and eventually cause me hitting kartman into carbs which i didn't do intentionally

~Gokartman deducted 10 points for deliberately spinning to bring out the Caution.
~Scuderia Venom deducted 5 points as a result.

This was different. Akmuq got loose coming out of Turn 4, Gokartman jammed on the handbrake to spin. Chris will be parked for next race and on probation for the three afterwards.

I'm not happy how the team gets deducted points which weren't even scored by us, as well as the fact it helped Furi's team more.

Edit: Kartman had already been collected, and I was getting loose from a bump...

It's a warning to the whole team not to try such stunts and discourage it from your drivers.

People probably wonder why I gave Scuderia Venom a points penalty in teams - if a driver knows that their actions can have a negative effect on the whole team, it will dissuade them from trying such a stunt again.
