Simple. No qualifying means dont get on the track till the race starts. Late start means wait 10 seconds before leaving starting line. Enforce this with suspension if they refuse and problem is solved.

But how do we know if they didn't do it? And what gatrs? What edit? Slow day, haha.

Again, easy. if they start in the back that means they didnt qualify, and if they aren't with the pack at the beginning of the race that means they waited. There is always going to be video evidence if someone tried to pull something so that wouldn't be an issue

Okay, but just remember, video reviewing isn't my responsibility so that would be a pain. I say we find a happy medium. What about probation?

Closer watching, a tighter grip on the leash, less benefit of the doubt, etc. Can you think of anything else?

That was my thought for a first offense.
I really just wanna not worry about docking points because in all honesty I will forget to do it every time.

That would be my job, that was why I would need a Discipline thread. I would need a public record of points deductions, suspensions, warnings, dismissals, etc. It won't be that hard.

How much would you dock if say I was running the F1 points system? 10pts is the max you can get there if you finish first

I saw this thread the other day and never got a chance to take a look, cool idea Gators! I look forward to how this turns out.

Depending on the severity of the infraction, anywhere from one to three points. With three being seldom used.

I could live with that.
What is the policy on intentional contact? (Aside from bump drafting of course)

Intentional anything would count as an infraction in my book 👍. It would be one step on the four step ladder in my system.

I like the points deduction, the number of points deducted will be completely up to the judges.
I also like the idea of time penalties at the beginning of the race, but what about when rolling starts are used?
Could they simply have to start from the pits?
The time penalty at the end of the race seems like another logical penalty, but can only be used when the offender finishes the race.
I think the judge(s) should be able to choose from that list, as well as the warning, suspension, and expulsion, depending on what they see fits.

Okay, just give me a list of what I can use, and I'll be happy to oblige :). Let's just move on and get everything done.

Well I've already volunteered to test created tracks.
What am I looking for exactly besides the obvious?

And what do you mean by grading tracks?

(Yes I know this is two points)

We should probably wait for the Course Maker track/time trial series/track grading until we get up and running.

We should probably wait for the Course Maker track/time trial series/track grading until we get up and running.

You're probably right.
Perhaps we should leave that for the future.
It'll really suck if we basically double our post count in this thread and this not work out. :/

I'll update the OP now.

So all you have to do is give me my list of punishments and we can create a name and be done! :D

EDIT: Whoops, Car Homologation. That's Mitch's job anyway .

EDIT: Oh yeah, the board members. That must be decided! I'm assuming gatrs is the head so maybe he appoints them? Or should we all just vouch for each other? :P

So we're on name now? Oh boy, what flavor! ??? flavor!! NO. Now where were those name suggestions... pages back. I think it was Mitch's name idea I liked... or was it Wardez's... did Mitch even come up with a name?

GTP Overseers of Series Racing Committee (OSRC)?

I still think that has a nice ring to it, especially the acronym.

Overseers sounds like a "Big Brother" effect. But nice acronym.

Lol sorry I'm not creative, but I am a good critic =p

I mean, we oversee the affairs of our participant series.

Oh that's one I forgot! OSRC. Yeah I like that. And JLawrance is right, it does kinda sound that way.

Hey, at least it isn't overlords. :P I don't think its that bad, and we will only use the acronym anyway.
