So with this qualifying system. When is it too late to join? Can I join during qualy or do you have to be on the track when Polor starts the clock?

Also, I thought we would be qualifying on our own with no one else on the track. Is that just an option that you have to check? Or is that not the way we are doing it?

Very good question. I'm wondering the same thing myself. What about a disconnect during qualy

Do GT cars here need a bit of a boost? I think PRO GT times at Daytona were in the 1:46s IRL, is anybody going that fast?

Ummmm, as far as the qualifying goes "Race Alone" was the desired qualifying style, but polar goofed it up. I think the Deltaeing guys and GT guys would all prefer not to have to worry about traffic during qualifying.



And, you have the same countdown timer that you normally have before races, but it's before qualifying.

I dont think so, but if you guys want some moar powaaa we can do that.

Today we will do solo qualifying for 10 minutes starting at 6:50 eastern, so the race starts at 7.

In real life, they were running 1:47s... I ran a single 1:47 on a perfect lap with draft, I think. Even so few as 10-20 hp would allow us to run "realistic" lap times.



But, of course, realistic or not doesn't matter because 8 Deltawings.

When you beat a time set in the dry at 10% weather on dry tyres with 0.7 still to come you know it's not bad...

Just a note 2012 DW seems a tad faster on straight. Spun off at start, and went charging. 1min 50.6 my best lap, had a few late spins but very happy with 2nd. Deltawing was fun, like an old school 70's Lancia Group B.

Best car i;ve ever driven in GT and thats saying something.

I didn't do that bad in GT, just a few consistency issues (also found out the car is more capable of consistency after the pitting (maybe I should pit earlier next time)). Also, not sure if it was accidental but Mel pushed me into the dirt on the first lap.
