Another one bites the dust. So I have to be on the lookout for perfect instrumentals too!

I've been out for a while now but wanted to see if I could make it the rest of the year without getting Whammed! again.

Nope.

And since I have nothing left to lose... fear for your lives. Everyday.
I see a retirement from GTP to be imminent in the coming days.

Would like a answer to this as well.
This has been answered before. It's up to you if you hear it here. You'd be a bit of a cheater though since you voluntarily clicked on it knowing what it was.

Better stay off it then. :D  Thanks Angel.

Its got to be said, the rules do say that it has to be original song sung. If there is no singing, its not the original and its not sung.

I want to put it out there that this whole event is supposed to be in light-hearted fun. The 'rules' aren't legally binding in a court of law - it's a silly little game on a forum to avoid a cheesy New Wave song from the 80s. I'm not going to put a line in the sand and say "this remix counts; but this one doesn't," or "if you walk past George Michael singing it to himself on the footpath, you're out." I have a life outside (infrequently) maintaining this thread and I don't want to spend it making a gigantic list of what counts and what doesn't count.

Daniel be like:

As for me - I didn't wham myself, I haven't been whammed by George or by anybody else. Or even an instrument.
This is basically like going to Confession and telling the priest that I didn't do it to myself, nobody did it to me and I didn't even look at pictures.
I'm clean.

Ohhh, I wasn't taking it all that seriously. I like debating rules is all. I'll do a better job of keeping it lighter hearted.
BTW, if you actually pass George Michael in the street singing this, and you can get it on video as proof, I think it should be an automatic win

No, if you see George Michael in the street, show him the thread and try to get him to join the game.

I've only seen the ad twice so far but twice is enough!

So far that is the only thing to get me, but its now 4 times.

HAHAHA SCREW YOU KEITH. Muted it this ad break and watched him parade around the outback.

The only way you can avoid the music in that ad is muting it or taping the programme your watching and fast forward through the ads, but I just had a terrible thought though, what if your in the Cinema and that comes on in the ads before the film!, only way you can avoid that is by getting there just before the film comes on, otherwise your doomed!

Two things: headphones and MP3 player (or smartphone). You'll have to be stealthy, but it'll help a lot.

I havent even got the chance yo make it to this thread....

...I already got whammed before getting here.

It happened on Nov 15th 2015 @ 16:51 PST
I was driving home, and by mistake (BY MISTAKE) i hit the radio button for the channel that i know is already playing Christmas songs.

So I IMMEDIATELY switched channel....
but it was already too late...

It happened so fast that i actually had to think for two seconds before realizing i just got whammed...

Damn it i hate it that song!!

Good luck to all of you
