Wham 4th eh?
Maybe, who knows? Guess we'll all have to watch the advert and see...
With the Keith Lemon advert out of the WHAM! zone, I am down to having only been WHAMMED! 3 times! Great success!
Wham 4th eh?
@Daniel, here is the advert. Do you class it as a Whamming or not.
Crap...I'm counting that. There's no way that's a cover.
I see a retirement from GTP to be imminent in the coming days.I've been out for a while now but wanted to see if I could make it the rest of the year without getting Whammed! again.
Nope.
And since I have nothing left to lose... fear for your lives. Everyday.
Might want to clear that up in the OP, that the original version still counts even as an instrumental.I'm counting that. There's no way that's a cover.
Since this thread is a safe haven, would I be out if I listened to the ad on the previous page?
This has been answered before. It's up to you if you hear it here. You'd be a bit of a cheater though since you voluntarily clicked on it knowing what it was.Would like a answer to this as well.

Its got to be said, the rules do say that it has to be original song sung. If there is no singing, its not the original and its not sung.
Well that's us double boned. I reckon a future Spotlight will likely contain a Wham trap.I've been out for a while now but wanted to see if I could make it the rest of the year without getting Whammed! again.

Ohhh, I wasn't taking it all that seriously. I like debating rules is all. I'll do a better job of keeping it lighter hearted.I want to put it out there that this whole event is supposed to be in light-hearted fun. The 'rules' aren't legally binding in a court of law - it's a silly little game on a forum to avoid a cheesy New Wave song from the 80s. I'm not going to put a line in the sand and say "this remix counts; but this one doesn't," or "if you walk past George Michael singing it to himself on the footpath, you're out." I have a life outside (infrequently) maintaining this thread and I don't want to spend it making a gigantic list of what counts and what doesn't count.
No, if you see George Michael in the street, show him the thread and try to get him to join the game.Ohhh, I wasn't taking it all that seriously. I like debating rules is all. I'll do a better job of keeping it lighter hearted.
BTW, if you actually pass George Michael in the street singing this, and you can get it on video as proof, I think it should be an automatic win
If you see George Michael while you're in the street and he's in a car keep well out the way.No, if you see George Michael in the street, show him the thread and try to get him to join the game.
Not even college is safe. Was eating lunch in the canteen there and the TV's (which usually are on some music channel) started playing Wham so that's me out.
I have been destroyed by Keith Lemon exactly nonce. Maybe it has to do with where I live.FFS, just been destroyed by Keith Lemon twice in 10 minutes.
The only way you can avoid the music in that ad is muting it or taping the programme your watching and fast forward through the ads, but I just had a terrible thought though, what if your in the Cinema and that comes on in the ads before the film!, only way you can avoid that is by getting there just before the film comes on, otherwise your doomed!
How loud are your headphones? Cinema's are super loudTwo things: headphones and MP3 player (or smartphone). You'll have to be stealthy, but it'll help a lot.
