So, the real Last Christmas played on TV when I went out to chill for a bit.

Wham dodged. :cool:

My sincere thanks goes to my little brother who I know might stab me in the back.. But that was close.

In today's Metro...ha. So much Whamming!

Welp, as much as I was hoping I would make, I have not... On this day, Dec 22, 2015, at 8:13 am. I, Rallywagon, was 🤬 whammed! I was on youtube, I should have been on my toes. I was listening to "Fairytale of New York" working on a spreadsheet. The song ends, and I think nothing of it, typically I do not have autoplay on. Then I heard that ominous synthesizer lead in. :indiff:
It was fun while it lasted everyone. Hope those of you still in it, win it.

So there I was, watching a TV show, when suddenly it stopped for a commercial break. As soon as the first advert came on...

"Last Christmas, I gave you my heart..."

But there was something odd about it. This... wasn't George Michael's voice. It was someone singing Last Christmas on the festive edition of a TV show. I was cover-Whammed and now I know that a Wham is due when the show next airs. I'll avoid it at all costs.

That was the closest call I've had yet. Just a bit over a week to go, let's bring it home... :nervous:

I step away from this thread for 1 day and all hell breaks loose courtesy of a mini @Jordan created Whammassacre. :P

Story of my life, but hey I'm still in this so far which is nice. :sly::lol:

That attack kind of got tipped off swiftly by people posting statuses about it so that helped mitigated the damage that was done.

CoverWhammed twice today.

Thankfully the people where I work are imbeciles who hate all 'original or best-known' versions of old songs but love the current pop music stuff... I think.

Not sure what's worse, hearing the same songs over and over again or George Michael.

I am just pleased about not even being the slightest bit curious as to what the supposed inappropriate content may have been and leaving the video well alone.

I was not in Wham! mode and the thought of a trap never crossed my mind until I came to the thread after replying to @Jordan that he must be mistaken.

@Daniel

So I've actually been Whammed countless times over the past month because one of the people I work with insists on playing Christmas music. Granted, it would have happened anyway, because of some poorly timed Christmas shopping, but still. I've never been the dead horse that was being beaten until now.
