Is there any way of retrieving your best lap time from a session in a lounge?? I posted the best time i could remember after almost 2 and a half hours and 200km (1'27.164) but cant remember if i went slightly faster. Although i definatley never hit the 1'26s so probly wouldnt make much difference. But if there is a way of doing it it could be handy??

No way to check your fastest time of the whole lobby, but you can check your fastest lap of the session you were just driving.

Say your in free run, but you leave the track before checking the best lap time, just go to the "Watch Race" screen, and in there navigate to the Live Timing screen, there you will see all the people currently running, and also anyone who has previously done a full lap time. So it will show your best lap in that screen. However once you go back on track, that record will be reset, so you need to check after each session on track if you want to record your best lap time in that session.

Today's practice races got a little messy. More patience and a good understanding of the rules is needed. Contact MUST be avoided!

For the new guys please make sure you read the Online Racing Rules so you understand what is expected. It would also be a good idea to re-read them if it has been a while since you read them. OLR Rules and Regulations.

Thanks everyone!

Hi All

Just wondering as this is my first online race, how do i submit a practice lap is it similar to my qualifier through the bot and how do i setup the race with tire wear and fuel consumption etc, it seems this must be done online?

Also I have never raced a race (even in offline) that requires pit stops I will need to do some research on how to plan for pitting effectively. Does anyone know of a thread to help with this?

I tried searching for how to submit a practice lap nothing came up. Thanks in advance for any help and sorry for the probably obvious questions.

Just click the submit button in the practice leaderboard post at the start of this thread and fill in the fields. It's nothing like the qualifier submission which requires a replay. You just enter a little text on a google form and that's it.

There are no pits in these sprint races so don't worry about that just yet.

Submitting a laptime can be done simply by clicking the 'submit here' button underneath this table.

Pitstops won't be needed for this race. :)
We're doing 3 x 18laps and this car will go way more on the sports hard we're using.

EDIT: Tree'd

Note also that you can submit now and then again when you improve. Your last submissions will replace any you made before (it shows the latest submitted lap by PSN ID).

Am I too late to join this?
No, not at all. Get some laps in between now and the event, register, and put a time up on the board that represents you well so we can get you in the correct room and you're all set! 👍

Hi, I'm doing a practice session now, cone join, room name Is WRS 121 SUBARU WRX PRACTICE
I'll be on for a few hours

Cross posted from the registry discussion thread.

For those of you who have submitted a qualifier and are going to be participating in future online events please fill out our new online driver database form.

It should only take a few moments and basically will allow our automated registration system to recognize you and pull your first name or nickname [optional] into the registration images as well as your country flag in results tables. We enable chat in lobbies and it's nice if we have a handy name when referring to people. Trying to say some of these PSN ID's is rather awkward. Just leave your division TBD and we'll import that data from the registry automatically.

Starting next week, if your PSN isn't registered with our database (which requires that you've submitted the qualifier) any submission you make for online events using google forms is ignored/filtered/kapoot.

NOTE: Even if you were registered online with us in GT5 you will have to fill out the form again. It's a new day!

----

I see a few drivers registered for this race or submitting practice laps who did not submitted a qualifier. Hopefully you guys submit a qualifier and continue to race with us beyond this week:
  • billyturmoil
  • brisbane956
  • couttsy22
  • DiabolicCreation
  • GTP_Revoy
  • GTP_sickdog2009
  • GTP_WORLDFAMOUS07
  • LittlePaul78
  • Luni_Legacy
  • OHood30
  • Seize_HKS
  • Vik_Cik
  • Willie12

PS> It's possible you submitted under a different PSN in which case you'll need to use that PSN in the future to sign up.

What other links? If we have one pointing to the wrong place we need to fix it.

Registration Instructions

The following must be performed by every driver for every event:
  • Click the registration button above, fill-in and submit the online registration form (use your GTP_ tag ID)
  • Leave a quick note in this thread to let us know you've registered and any other comments.

The "Online registration form" points to Mountaineering event. :dunce: I didn't even look at the URL. That's always step 1 in finding an error. Anyways, I'm glad I could clear that up.

Yes, I just found it. The button was updated, but the link in the description below was not. That would explain all the guys who registered for last week's event. I've removed the link in the description... only the button works with the text "register" below it also in the same link for those on phones that can't see images. That way there is only one thing to update. Let's see, who do I go scold for this.
