Do I have to create a whole new account just to change my name and put GTP in front of it? That means I have to start all over?? That link above dose me no good, dosen't help me out a bit...what do I have to do to add a sub-account under my current name without having to start all over again? Once again the link above is useless unless I want to start a "NEW" account...please help!

A sub account for a minor age 12 and under is created by the master account holder. During the account creation process, an email is sent to the email address associated with the master account holder's sign-in ID. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the registration on a PC. To sign in to PLAYSTATION®Network using the sub account that was created, you must associate the account with a User who will log in to the PS3 system. For details, see (PLAYSTATION®Network) > [Associating an account with a User] in this guide.

I guess I have to start GT5
all over again if I want to put GTP in front of my name. IT WILL NOT LET ME create a sub-account with an exsisting account...only with setting up a new account...WHY?? This really dosen't make sense. It tells me to get to the Playstation Network and click on an icon that dosen't exsist. I have two options 1. Account management 2. Playstation store. I goto account management and I see sub accounts there but it's not highlited and will not let me select it. What am I doing wrong...or do I need to open a new account and start GT5 all over again to put GTP in front of my name?

Sub accounts are still different accounts. The purpose of being able to make a sub account is for parents who want to control and monitor their child's online activity.I guess I have to start GT5
Here is what the official online manual has to say on the subject:
Signing up for PLAYSTATION®Network
Master account / sub account
Now as long as you have the Blu-ray version of the game, then all you have to do is copy your GT5P game save from your current account to your new GTP_ account. It's extremley easy and fast to do.
I just pm'd Sphinx the other day on my NoahRolld account to get registered but have got no response back yet. I wanted to register under my Noah account on the forums... Don't know if that matters or not but I saw I could not pm anyone is this because I must be activated before I can do so?

good race with putty and dbo129 @ 750 suzuki track. i am endemictr whos rocks mine's skyline white one
Yes, that was fun, I think we had several races. I was having a "challenging" day in some runs, but did quite well in others.
I was trying some different RWD cars as well, the mine's sure is a nice vehicle, but i find the Lancers more forgiving and flexible...but slower.

I would create it to be sure it is available on the PSN. Of course, if you registered with Sphinx first and found it was taken on PSN I am sure he woudl be understanding if you had to change it.
The only thing that could posibly be embarrassing is if you did something to prevent you from being on the list.
