Hello everyone. I just created an account here and, although I've read a few threads and found help here recently, this is my first post. I've also registered a sub account with a username of GTP_chris0. I'm not online very often but when I am I try to race as cleanly and considerately as possible. Perhaps I'll see some of you there.

It's a bit difficult to do that when one in tucked up in bed at 4.30am. Why?

100 PMs a week, that is a lot. I receive about less then 1 PM a week. What do people PM you about so much? is it mostly about GTP name tags? hmmm

Mostly yes, requests to register and many questions. Oh, and then there's also the WRS.

Just quoting myself here as a refresher for people.

I think a quick reminder to everyone that Sphinx is a busy person with a real life and that he has to sort through probably a lot of PMs and make sure no one with WRS or general GTP issues are also registered (I am assuming that is the only way to get rejected) that it may not happen immediately.

He will let you know when you are added.

Patience. It isn't as if we have any GTP based events coming up any time soon that requires you to get in soon.

And since I would assume you have already got your GTP_ ID registered on the PSN you aren't being stopped from racing online before he gets to you.



This isn't directed at any one person. I've just seen a number of posts in here, that appear to be excited members, wanting Sphinx to hurry up. No one has been rude about it so 👍 to you all, but I am sure it can be a bit of an annoyance to Sphinx, who is moving as fast as he can.


And let's also remember time differences here. Sphinx is in the UK and so he may be sleeping when members in the western hemisphere are registering. He is not a robot like Famine, and so he does have to go eat and sleep.


All that said, I don't think just saying, "I registered and once I get approved I will be GTP_Username" is a problem.

Sphinx, if I were you I would include harassment as a qualifier for not getting accepted. Or, just for fun, every time someone asks ignore them for 24 hours.

And it is easy to change your PSN,
Make a new account and copy your GT5P gamedata from your current PSN name to your GTP_name.

On the XMB go to Game Save Data (go up on Game) and find the save file you want and click triangle. You will have an option to copy it.
