Seems there's a whole bunch of us vying to be the worst ever. :D

well when you look at the online stats, you pretty sure know where you,re gonna be in the division.

Only problem is that we will be 360 registered, and in those registered members, I've seen many (well about a dozen) with awesome qualifying times.

we need to wait and see how this will work out.

PS: I still see dots :nervous:

The GTP_Registry is now up to date, đź‘Ť and all members who didn't submit a qualifying lap time have been removed. However, those who wish to join up again at a later date are free to do so once the registration process start up again.

Still working on the divisions. đź‘Ť

WOOT I see my GTP name :)

By the way, I see there are 5 divisions, on each Division there are about 20 empty spots, can there be more then 20 per each? And does lets say Divisions work.. is Division 1 is PRO level and Division 5 is ROOKIE level? How does that work?

Yeah, I'm nowhere when it comes to online rankings. I just don't know how they do it!

And the dots are mocking me...

well actually most top laps have seen, if you look closely at the steering in the cockpit view, you'll clearly see the delicate input. So eighter the guy is a NASA astronaut or he is using a G25 or any other good wheel like the DFGT/PRO
and is reallly good at it.

Anyone knows if GT5 will offer CLAN tag letters and numbers? Some games offer that so that you do not have to create a new profile so that you can display your clan TAG in front of your PSN account.

You know what? I never actually thought of looking at online replays. :dunce:

(Didn't know you could, actually :dopey:)

You can also download their ghost and check out their racing lines.

But it's only the top 10

I think I'm top 10 in the GTR 34 in Fuji F Professional mode

I was also top 10 in the Honda Integra in the high speed ring..but i haven't checked that out in a while so they have probably brought me down the list.

just had a look at the GTP_ register and it looks a little smaller but still big enough to get a good system of division's going. looking forward to the races. well done sphinx.

Thanks for the tip, going to give that a go now. Things like this can only make us better. đź‘Ť

If you were top 10 at HSR without wallriding then I truly salute you.

iT was a 200 or so HP car so you have to be reallly bad to wall drill in these circumstances...and btw the high speed rings first high speed turn was made for "high speed" so taking advantage of the racing line will guaranty a good lap time.

and btw, even if i can't drive the car (like the FR's) I never wall drill. And i really do hope that PD puts up a rough damage engine so that ANY wall drillers feel the "real" consequences of their actions

i downloaded a couple of replays myself and although it did help a little i found the only reason i wasn't in the top 100 was because i had to get on the brakes earlier than they did. i use an old driving force wheel, (2002 GT3) do the new wheels help much?

Registration will start again on 21st September 2008.
Just to make sure this registration will be opened to people who havent registered in the past ?

I use the same wheel as you (Logitech's old DF) and I think it all comes down to pure skill. I downloaded GTRP-Struppi's replay, and couldn't believe my eyes, his awesome laptime seemed almost effortless. Smooooooth driving, braking exactly where he should brake, putting gas exactly where it should be put, gently steering the entire lap. After seeing it I submitted, I knew I couldn't do that, even if I had the best equipment there is and a whole year to try

i downloaded 1st and 10th place and i've got to admit the way they handled the lap was very impressive. it's the way that they enterd the bend's that i couldn't get though which is why i think it may have somthing to do with the wheel. don't get me wrong, i'm not blaming the wheel completely but i've never used a g25 or even a dfp so i have no way of knowing. oh and please someone tell me if i'm allowed to continue this conversation here.

it's pure skills my friend...and hours of lap time behind these times

your probably right mate. my wheel may have done more miles than a 60's mini but the new wheels can't be that much more precise. gonna have to work on my breaking.

am making a post so that i can pm sphinx with a request to be added to the registry. P3nT4gR4m taught me every thing i know :)đź‘Ť

Only a week to wait then.

You all should see the Visitor Message I've just approved to Sphinx's profile... Whew.

If this little scumbag offends anyone or collects infractions, it should in no way reflect on me. He's a filthy little delinquent I tell you - I washed my hands of him years ago
