What, I did not know that. Why did he even kick you off he always liked driving with you.

he just tweeted me and said i was off his friends list, and that he didnt like me. Kinda hurt but i dont care i never really drove hard in the stream clearly.

So have finally achieved my goal from GT5, but now in GT6, lol.

I just hope Div 2 Bronze will not be an over-qualification, as I am low in the list for D2B, but I hope that with the restructuring of the registry that it will be not too much of a challenge.

Very pleased (and pleasantly surprised) with my ranking, I must say. Congrats to everybody who met their goal. Surprised to see a couple of people below me who usually perform better than me, but that probably will be corrected after a few weeks of TTs. And a special "attaboy" to @otxjto for his D2G 👍
Thanks Daniel.:)
I was very surprised , at first I thought there might have been a mix up with the replays.

Looks like I have a lot of work ahead of me ,to prove to myself I belong in Div 2.

Congrats to everyone that put in a qualifier, if you were not here before, you are now part of a great community.👍

Thank you to the admins and stewards really appreciate the time and effort.

D2 Gold :) Nice! Not sure if I will be able to keep the pace though. I'll try...with my old DS3. :scared:

Looking forward to the next TT. :D

D2 Bronze, I'm pretty happy with that. Look forward to trying to move up. I always like a good challenge. Thanks to everyone involved in this series! Great community here!

D3 Gold...I'm actually quite shocked at that. I realize Division 5 is gone and so the actual divisions probably translate very poorly but my handicap is better than where I left off and I'm still right in the middle of the pack. I was expecting a lot worse and I couldn't be happier with my placement.

Congrats to everyone that accomplished their goals and good luck to everyone looking to improve. A huge thank you to all the work done on this as well, I can't believe you guys were able to get it all up and running so fast. A job very well done, thank you so much!

Meh, it was just a few hours... :P

Let us hold off the imminent lynching and rejoice....

Great to see the Registry up so quick. I for one am pleased to see the outcome for myself (as well as a few others). I was openly hoping for a D2 placement and I'm looking forward to the occasional TT as and when time permits.

It's truely great to see the time, effort and dedication put in by all of the GTP WRS Admin team to make this happen so a big thank you for keeping the wheels rolling.

We shrunk to 4 divisions, but that really didn't change D1-D3 much at all. For the most part D4-D5 were just collapsed into one division with a very large range. Participation was often light in those divs anyway, especially D5.

So if you got into D3, you earned it with your laps and not because we shifted everything. 👍

EDK
We don't have the controllers shown next to names in the registry listing. But based solely on who I KNOW uses controller, I think it might be GTP_Lukas in D2 Gold, with GTP_Viper not far behind, also D2 Gold.

I no longer use a controller so I guess the honors go to GTP_Viper, I found a cheap DFGT just before GT6 was released so I'm surprised I managed to get in to D2 Gold, if I can manage to one day get in to D1 I will be very happy so for now it's just plenty of practicing.

Thanks to the admins for putting this together and sorting this out so quickly, was a bit surprised to see the registry sorted already.

Very happy and surprised..Div1 Bronze :)
Up a level from what seemed my traditional D2 Gold from GT5 and GT5P.
I put less than 2 hours into each combo and could see lots of time left on track so was a bit scared I was miles off the pace.

Once again  to all the admin that put all this together 👍

Div1 definitely looks smaller to me. I read that turnout was down about 75 to 300 from GT5 to 6, but Div 1 still seems vastly smaller even accounting for this. I assume this was intentional.

Reflecting upon how much time I put into this and what I knowingly left out on the track I'm happy with my placement. When I qualified near top of Div1 silver in GT5 I was ecstatic. Qualifying bottom of Div1 bronze in 6 isn't a shock to me; in fact I'm very happy. I can see margins for improvement and I'm content that I can work on improving without feeling any pressure to perform to expectations on a weekly basis. Indeed I expect many people from Div 2 to place above me quite regularly.

The discrete mathematical method by which divisions and medals are awarded doesn't really represent fully the very fluid level of abilities and specialties that are on show from week to week. Indeed the distinction between one division and another can be mere hundredths. Evidently the registry is filled with talented drivers; some of whom will outperform their divisions once a few variations have been run.

The important thing to me is that I went from a 12 month absence to Div 1 standard in a week, and if I apply myself weekly I should be able justify my place there and improve my consistency and times accordingly.

A big thanks to all admins and stewards for the hard work in the last couple of months ( I think)
And congratulations to everyone who reached his goal.
Must say I was a bit suprised ending up in D1B.
Was aiming at D2G to be hounest

Very big thanks to all those who made this happened
Now let's get rock rolling....

Did you notice that you're now in same division as Caine? I remember you mentioning that last season in ITCC... :)

And, since I've got the mic: Thanks organizers :)

Big thanks to all the mods and anyone helping put this together, it's a lot of work, and, as always, your dedication is much appreciated. I haven't done the WRS since GT4 or (possibly) the early days of Prologue, hopefully I will have the time to participate more now than in the last couple years. Great to see some old faces/names here.

I had no idea as to what to expect. I'm not the last name...so I got that going for me. The Death Star is smiling toward the Light Side.

Having never done this before how easy or hard is it to get promoted? I am way back but only recently started playing for real and used driving aids until this qualifier. I did just get a DFGT wheel but have only ever won races by punting the AI into corners in previous versions of GT. I have spent countless hours and money in my real life Vette but have zero competitive driving experience. I am here to learn!

Feel very content having more than retained division placement and having fought the urge to invest more time than usual into the qualifier just to avoid humiliation. Reading through the divisions quickly, I must say they look very accurate from the impression you get of the regulars in the online races. The chosen track/car-combination seems to produce very representative results.

And lots of familiar names there in D2G! 👍

........I am here to learn!
You're in the right place 👍 Promotions come with consistent results with a negative handicap (ie performing above the level of your qualifying perfomance) resulting in your handicap being reduced bit by bit until it reaches the next divisional cut-off point. If your participation is regular, you will then be looked at for promotion. Its not something that does (or should) come quickly or easily but with regular running and consistent performance.

Here in the WRS you will find many people eager and willing to help with tips and techniques, videos, lap guides and walkthroughs and the guys at the top really are some of the best in the world. 👍
