I'd just like to say thank you to the organizers of this new Registry Qualifier.

Thank You 👍

These two combos are just lovely, I'm finding the Willow one even more enjoyable, which I didn't think was going to happen because Brands Hatch is my favourite new course to GT6 (can't better the Nordschleife, though). The cars feel so at home on these tracks, and handle really well, so I don't need to worry about battling the car before I can battle the track.

Its already killing me not knowing others times haha

And you'll never know, so don't let it bother you.

EDK
It worked on my Droid 1 and Droid 3, but does not work on my new phone, Razr M. Phone needed to be in Storage only USB mode, which was an option from the pulldown on the main screen.
I believe after Android 2.3 or so it won't work unless you root your phone and install an app like USB mass storage enabler or something similar, that's what I did with my s4.

My darn tv decided to die last night so my start will be delayed as I look for a new one. The combos look interesting though. I've taken a liking to Brands Hatch but Streets of Willow is a challenge for me. Good luck to everyone!

So, we were struck with another several-hour-long outage, just started on the qualifiers a few minutes ago. That first one is quite fun, I must say. Might give the other one a try as well before going to bed.

I assume it's ok, but I was wondering whether it was allowed to ask for advice about how to take certain turns, gear changes, etc. either privately or publicly (and for others to provide such advice, of course). Although I suppose most would not want to ask for advice, for fear of qualifying too well...

Well, this will mark the first time I join the GTP registry.

I've spent roughly a half an hour on each time trial. I'm pleased with my Willow Springs time, but my Brands Hatch time still needs some work. That M3 can be pretty twitchy if you're not careful enough on the throttle.

I figure I'll do some half hour sessions on both trials and see if I can improve upon my times. Like I said, I think I've squeezed about as much as I can out of the Megane, but I'll still run some more laps next time I tackle this. My main focus is on the Brands Hatch run though.

Awesome trials though.

Sorry, Daniel, but it's not OK.

You can't discuss anything about how to go fast. Splits, Lap Times, Techniques, all are prohibited.

I'm having problems submitting the files, but I'm sure that everything is ok in the message. I´m from Argentina, is that a problem? (I mean if the bot doesn't recognise the country)

Aah that feeling when you beat your time after an hour of trying and the lap is dirty by a hair's width .

I'm down to looking for a few hundredths at Willow Springs, and then it's on to Brands Hatch!

About 90% of my laps at Willow have been dirty while I get used to the horrendous understeer... I hope the BMW has perfect handling to make up for it

I think I'm going to wait before running the qualifier. I still have a whole ton of career left and would like to finish that before I start entering competitions/TTs/racing series and such.

On top of that the bug with not being able to adjust BB plus the fact that racing brakes are completely useless unless you use ABS make me want to wait to see if PD will fix that. 👍

Good luck everyone nevertheless.

Yes...and discovering you can only save your fastest (dirty) lap of the entire stint...:ouch:

Anyway...
The rules are (allmost) clear,I've got 2 questions though:
--1 The use of handbrake is allowed?
--2 Does the DFGT wheel give the opportunity to change the BB whilst driving?
My G27 shows the menu, but only TC is changeable (for now)
I certainly hope there will be an update for this soon, this might become in handy..

Good luck all

Attention confused souls...

I have just put together what is hopefully a helpful video that walks you through each step of the way, explaining everything from start to finish for submitting your qualifier.

If you have questions regarding the video itself, there is also a thread for it here, so feel free to comment there too 👍

thanks im a one of confuseds xD but i have a question, all we have to do tests or only people who come new ?

P.D: like and subscribed in your channel oink ;)

Here's a guide on how to export, zip and upload replays. It is a bit outdated and apparently the pics are not there to help anymore but a new one will be made to help you all who haven't done it yet.

Thank you very much Speedy .... this is extremely helpful. I would never have known where to start or what to do so your information is very beneficial.

Some of you guys have tried to submit the qualifier but got a message back that it could not be processed.

Currently i'm modifying my internals to get everything hooked up for GT6.

There was a small mismatch in subject I expected, and that was requested in the registry submission description (WRS_GTP Registration vs WRS_GTP Qualifier) that has been sorted out, so the error message back should be much more descriptive now.

As said, I'm meditating on the changes to the submission system and hope to have it ready in the next coming day(s), until then enjoy GT6 and good luck!

I wonder how many people (outside of Joost) have tried to initiate a real conversation with our lovable little golden laptime retriever.
 Look at his profile page. @WRSFetchBot He even got invited to an online lobby!
And you wouldn't believe what PM's he's getting sometimes.

How would I set about changing my name that's in the registry?
Your name isn't in the registry yet, so whatever name you submit your qualifier with, that will be your registry name. If you wish to change it after that, you will have to send PMs to @Vaxen and @JoostBaksteen to ask them to change it but its not something we'd want to do too often. 👍
How can you tell if people stay with in the primers of the rules set for the wrs? And how can replays be exported to the PS3?
We have a number of ways to check replays for event and car settings. I wouldn't advise testing the theory by submitting with a replay that breaks any of the rules; it would be a shame to start your WRS career with a DQ. ;)

We had a few members try it out over the course of GT5 and they were caught and subsequently banned:

I corrected your post as well - please use correct spelling and avoid text speak in your posts in future. 👍
