Yep, you are right. That one is really close. If you really believe that's as far as you go off track, you're fine. If you're not sure, find a new lap.

I tried changing the pics to img vs. url, but that didn't work. Try photobucket or imageshack next time.

I checked the replay about a dozen times, fortunately it is only half a minute or so in!... But in the times I checked it that is the closest of all the replays I watched so I am confident I did not leave the circuit although I am cutting it very fine so if I get another chance I would like to go 'round again and set a faster, less risky lap!

EDIT: Uploaded photos to Photobucket instead of Flickr (Removed them from earlier post also), now they will display properly!

Picture 1; Fortunately I am understeering badly because if the car went where the wheels are pointing that would be a DQ!

Picture 2; This is the start of sector 5, the long left with the blue Opel signage on the outside, was not sure if that concrete is classed as track or not... Although, it would seem from your answer before that only picture 1 is questionable!

Picture 3; This is sector 8 just on the exit of the final WRS Qualifier corner, normally run two wheels on the (red & white) rumble strip but ran wide on the lap in question...

Picture 4; This is under brakes for the final big-stop of the lap but was not sure if being on the outside of the white lines there is legal...

Also, it can be noted that I have since learned that all are legal! (Thanks EDK! 👍)
Although, picture 1 is cutting the friendship a little fine!...

Well I did fix it, but sadly from T4 onwards I kept making mistakes. Also made a few more errors from T9 - Finish, so in the end I was only a tenth faster than my old time. Would be happy to take another second off at T9 and 1.4 or so at the Finish. Your turn Nigel

combo was more enticing. 👍

Lost a bit of time after T9 due to fear of messing up such a good lap but still managed to stay in front to the line. I definitely haven't let go of what I fear to lose, yet.

It's really strange that it seems impossible to do a lap without at least one major mistake, and by major I don't mean missing the apex of one curve by a meter. I don't think I have completed more than 5-6 laps in the entire week.

Same here... I've run about 6 hours so far this week and completed 10 clean laps. My nerves are shot...

Managed an improvement today, albeit with a fairly sedate end to the lap - I've put too many decent laps in the bin at the esses just before the finish.

T4 is a mystery... have done faster individual sectors for every one but I'm probably not going to tie them together to be honest. My nerves can't take another instance of being up 0.5 at T9 and then binning it at the double right before the straight. Having said that, I've already exceeded my wildest expectations here.

I definitely haven't let go of what I fear to lose, yet.

I'm re-acquainting myself with my fears this week.

Well compared to the rest of the sectors, I'm loosing more than usual.

That being said I just blew a T6 of 3'41.2 because I got too nervous in the S bend after the Karusell and put it into the wall . I was just over 1 second up on my ghost! . Those damn nerves effect us all

Haha I'm getting deja vu from this quote was 1.1 up early in a lap last night that turned into .2 up at the last section before the back straight and lost it going onto the back straight and ate some barrier for supper

Had to rerun on my GTP account as my last time was accidentally run on my Mysteron71 account i'm 1.5 secs faster at the line so far but still a country mile and some off the leaders

Will run again before the deadline and submit whatever I can scrape together 👍

Pretty much - even The Zokyloid is doing it (even though he's gained quite enough tenths already thankyou.)

I did another clean lap... which gave me "a very nice feeling" I didn't, ya know, over-react or anything cos the missus is out and the kids are upstairs.

Oh man that's gotta hurt. I know how 🤬 I've been throwing laps away that are 2-2.5 seconds better (most of the week), so I can only imagine how you felt.

At least you know you can do it, and if you've done it once you can do it again 👍

Starting to gain some ground, getting more comfortable past the Carousel, but putting an entire lap down that is good all the way through is proving to be a heck of a task. I know a T9 in the 5:33's or faster is possible if I put a clean lap down... We'll see I don't know if I'll have much time to run before the deadline though, so this may be it, horrible T1 and all.

Unless something inspiring happens tomorrow I'm giving up and submitting the splits I have on the board. I have a .5 faster T3-4, and another .5 faster T9-finish but it's just so frustrating chasing those tenths. My last 2 hours I didn't cross the finish once.

If you put 2 wheels into the grass on the outside and turn in, its possible to take the double right after T1 completely flat.
