@ CSLACR: Welcome to my world!! I run 50+ laps for breakfast and often see 10 or 20 laps within a tenth of each other without breaking through. It is my dedication to racing combined with my lack of talent that makes this possible!! :dopey:

@ Carlos: I'm so happy that my inability to better my t-times has lifted your spirits!!

Seriously, I am getting faster, just slowly. I'm driving for a top ten overall, and hopefully a division podium. But like you say, we still have some heavy hitters yet to weigh in. :nervous:

Racing On!

:gtpflag:

Really, Seken? You couldn't have waited one more week before blowing me away? I'm so disturbed that I may not drive again for hours!! :sly:

Go Steven! 👍

Go RR!

I'll hafta figure out how to catch up. Maybe if I switch to DS3 the nitrous will work. 💡

Chuk, you're driving like a freakin' legend buddy, no need to be nervous. Regardless of where you end up it's been a seriously impressive performance this week 👍

Thank you again, Carlos! You rock!

I also send a quick cheers to Sureboss and Jerome.:cheers: I really appreciate the positive comments, especially from you guys!

Where's Anghammarad?

But the week is young! Plenty of time to roar past me (you are very fast, I've been lurking the boards while I waited for my PS3 to return). I have yet to match RedReevos though... :nervous:

But yeah my PS3 has been out for over a month (died when PSN was hacked on 4/17), sent it out and got a replacement literally last week. Sadly my old GT5 save was corrupted (backed it up and everything), so I had to smash through all the easy stuff to afford this race (about 200k).

I foresee quite a fight in D2 this week

Truly sorry about the corrupted data. :(

Red has set the pace for D2, 👍 , so it's up to us to catch him! I have to say, you are doing pretty good for setting the pace of the chase!

Once I sleep off the beer, I'll try to join you! :)

Racing On! (in a little while:sly:)

That corner requires a slight bit of luck, its ideal to completely miss the curb as it slightly unsettles the car, compromising grip. Ran this one using a highly modified Plato tune, yielding

22.604
28.550

With a more ideal tune, .4's are obtainable in both sectors without a doubt.

Possible .4s in both sectors  What planet are you from

Any chance you could share what changes you have made to the set up, fantastic splits by the way:tup:

Yielding, maybe this means you don't want to share it cause Zoky is close by, which I would understand if you didn't want to share it

My current fastest lap scraped it, and that was enough to cost me .200

(Discussing turn 1) So that would mean if I don't use the curb I can get a 22.5xx in T1... sounds nice in theory but I doubt that will work in practice.

No time to get any running in today so I'll sit and watch myself drop down the board for a bit. Great times being set all round. :)

Come on Plato, we all know D1 Gold drivers, especially Dan, aren't from this world. Where exactly?, well he wont say :) & if he says there is a possibility to hit .4 in both sectors, then he knows what he is talking about :scared:

Well now I've finally seen the whole reverse tuning effects, even though some are right (rear toe for example, and brake balance) which enrages me just a little since tuning is how I get my kicks in this game, and here I was thinking my other cars were just being a little stubborn or something. I did have a go, all I can remember was my first sector a 23.0, did see a 22.8 but I'm not finished altering the setup yet. This car would be a lot faster if it responded well to brake balance changes.

T1: 23.652
T2: 30.055
Some small improvements left yet.
Just need to tidy all sectors up and bring them together really!
Cheers All !!'

Thanks for tips guys. I will be pondering T2 tonight hopefully. I really do not like this car, but I am a junkie and can't resist.

Ran this one using a highly modified Plato tune, yielding

(very respectable splits)

Plato's setup is already an extremity, I can not imagine how you can take that any further.

I find -20 height too hard, front wheels lose contact and spin too easily.

I see that both Plato and Chris use much lower camber than the default 3.5, that would make sense as this car is too light to push the tires 3.5 degress, but maybe you have found a way to do that? Way to go :)

T1: 23.459
T2: 29.830

Move on, nothing important to see below!

Another .145 improvement using Chris' updated adjustments, with some minor changes by me.....Toe, LSD, couldn't get it to work for me, Chris. Left rear camber @ 1.7, and front has always been 2.1 since day one. My goal is a T1 sub-23 , and at least a T2-29.5! A good T3 would follow!!

New splits

T1 22.909
T2 28.667

Getting so frustrated, been running consistent .7s in T1 but seem to only beat my time after an average T1. Theres a couple more tenths in this for me, but I don't fancy my chances of getting them before the deadline :ouch:

GTP_Plato = Useless under pressure when running good T1s :banghead:

Edit: I notice Wes hasn't posted a lap either, so there's someone else to bump me down further
I got to work really hard to do that. Great splits from you and everyone in D2 again.

Honestly expected to do well this week, but I don't have splits worthy posting. T2 is a mistery for me at the moment.

Slower splits but a few thousandths faster :sly:

T1 22.738
T2 28.849

All I need to do is put this T1 with my last posted T2 and I will be happy..... No one said it was going to be easy :D

mystery and misery in one word, sums up my feelings about it :)

I am sure there is a key to it and I will find it, so I have posted my splits, miserable as my T2 is for now.

Sure, I am using 5/7bb

I just wish I could put these two sectors together as I have managed a 51.4 but messed up the final corner :ouch:

I know the feeling. I've used your tune all the way through, think I'm getting used to it now, not far of breaking in to the 28's on t2 a couple of more hours and I think I might be there.

Very frustrating when I manage to hit a 28 and mess up the final corner. How some of you guys are hitting 22.7's in t1 is driving me insane. :grumpy:

Not much of improvement on T's but great finish!
23.179 ( I've been able to pull 22.7xx consistently but can put a good lap together)
29.342 (same here 28.9xx)

New splits

T1 22.783
T2 28.703

was just over a car length in front of my ghost and messed up the last turn, but still took off half a tenth. :grumpy:
