Cheers Chukky. I'll try your settings later - I'll probably harden up that rear spring though, I can't handle the backend feeling that much like a helium balloon :)

Matt
Everything on the left side of suspension settings is backwards - Chuk's rear suspension is as hard as possible.

Nice Chuk, very nice - D2 podium on the cards 👍

@Paulie, given that your 5th overall, I'm not sure that there are many people that can offer you much advice! Nice splits 👍

Gonna try and make some sense of all this later and see if I can't add a good T3 to my lap.

Yeah but my T2 is just barely 9th best, I'd love to find where I'm losing 2 tenths on Dan.

Joost and Steven, I'm sorry I broke your leaderboard! :guilty:

I fixed it. 👍

Will have to try your gear tweaks. As I mentioned before to DDiamnod, I knew 3rd was a little long for a couple of the corners, but liked that it kept me out of wheel spin land. But if it makes me faster, I'll take it. :dopey:

Glad I can do something to contribute to the tuning nightmare that this little VTEC beast is. ;)

Thank you, Kevin!!

What about the cobbles to the left on the tunnel at T1? I've been thinking of them as tarmac.

Aero is 15/25
LSD 5/25/5
Ride Height 45/-20
Springs 15.0/3.7
EXT 10/4
COM 8/2
Roll bar 6/2
Camber 2.0/1.7
Toe -.10/-.05
Brakes are 5/7

Combination of the tune I was developing (based off Plato's) and Chuk's.
Don't know my gear ratios offhand, 3rd goes to about 87, 4th 107, 5th 127, 6th (claimed) 154. I do not use 2nd, but it's around 72.

I discovered while breaking in a new one in the "Supercar festival" This thing actually does haul some tail. :) 380+ HP on SS's around Eiger.... :)

Dan even said it's somewhat luck, if you get just the right line entering the double apex, you should carry 88-90mph through it, though I find the left hander in the tunnel harder, can't go wide, can't go slow.

Ok guys, after 1000kms, my engine is run in but my bhp is only 283. Is that right?

My times after the only session that I will get this week :(

23.701
29.856

Thanks to BloodiMayhem for the set up as I am useless at setting up a car. I just get in and drive around the car.

Have had a lot of fun on this combo. Thanks guys.

Can you really get 4 wheels on that without hitting the wall? I'm thinking you would keep 2 on the real tarmac.

Still a tenth to find in T3, but an improvement in all three sectors none the less :)

Yeah I've been getting somewhat varied results doing almost exactly the same thing, but this was still one of my best runs.

That's what I've got.

Me too, but it drops with bad oil every so often, so keep an eye on your power levels.

So the first run I checked the mileage of the car which was around 70 km, but after oil change it was 0.5 km, is that normal? I thought it just kept counting.

Did you save before exiting the game?

If you only run in practice mode, the game doesn't auto save.

Nope, didn't know that, I'll remember to auto save next time.

Last splits for me tonight. Very nice setup there Chuk 👍 but I am using Kevin's gears :) & managed to knock off .250 from T3

T1: 22.706
T2: 28.744

All you have to do is go back to the GT home.
Top Tip: Unless you've changed settings during your practice run, what I do is once my car is broken in, give it a bath and oil, then I deliberately quit the game without exiting from the track, this way my car stays lower mileage, and I have less annoying upkeep. 👍

EDIT: At this point, I'm assuming I'm done with this combo, made a submission so I can't forget.

Good Luck to all those fighting for remaining tenths.

Believe it or not, I did do that, and that's when I realized that they were cobbles, and not pavement. The splits I have now go on ONE single solitary cobblestone between the white line and the beginning of the rumble, right at t1, which made me curious. The ghost I'm chasing now is very clean, and actually has a faster t1 than Zoky (it's a 22.659), so there's not a speed advantage, just a technical point.

I constantly put my inside tires up against (sometimes on) the rumble strip there, my outside tires are obviously well onto the cobbles.

I think you can carry more exit speed thorugh that fast right turn if you go over those cobblestone's. IMO it should be ilegal and I'm using white line( later red rumble) as track limit there!👍

I'm not saying it should be legal, but I don't think it gives you more speed. My fastest time (the 22.659) is within the white lines, which is where I run. This one lap I'm talking about is within the white line right up to the rumble strip, when it clips a cobblestone. My fastest lap does indeed cross entirely over the white line, so I would never submit it, but it's still a full tenth slower at t1 (it's a 22.783.) I was just wondering about that one stone. If Jake gets here, I'll post a picture. But I do agree that the cobbles should be out, I'm trying to let people know to watch out for it, that's all.

I understand what are you saying.....I just don't agree that it doesn't give you anytime...:sly:, it's not much but it's a small advantage!!
I might give your setup a go today and find some more tenths hopefully, thanks for sharing!

@ Welcome Spud, nice to see you here, looking forward to competing you in upcoming weeks!👍
