I pop 5th at the beginning of the rumble strip before turn1, wait for the car to settle, then gas on. Hope that helps. Using Plato's tune with a brake balance of 5/6 and max aero.

OK same as me. I can now consistently be up on my T1 split out of turn 1, just can't repeat my turn 2 performance into the tunnel. If I could, I suspect I'd be on for a .8 or thereabouts.

However, my rear aero is only at 8 - maybe I need to engineer in more oversteer with the suspension and dial it back to sane levels with additional rear df. That might also be why I'm a way off on T2 splits 💡

Might help, otherwise just need to keep practicing I guess

Thanks for the help buddy

Small improvement for tonight, I'll do better later.

Max the game. Plato's tune gives you all can get from the physics as far as tuning, so drive it like the Devil is behind you. I'm using stock tranny. Trail-braking won't make much of a difference. Slow down sooner, then drive through the ghost. (Remember, he's an idiot!) When you can out brake him, stay on the gas and steer!!

With all the tuning going on, is anyone using the ballast weight adjustment, or it that not allowed?

With all the hills I'm not sure it would be a benefit. Incidentally, Ramon proved in the Indy NASCAR even that moving a 0kg phantom mass around gave no benefit so you would have to introduce mass to then move it around the car.

With Chuk's assistance, I am now into the 22's in T1

Well isn't life funny? I went to bed last night thinking I had T1 sussed and needed to work on T2 but when I check the leaderboard this morning I find it's the other way round. I'll try some of the tunes that have kindly been posted and see what happens.

All the best, S

 I think you'll find I'm not that far in front, Chuk on the other hand is walking around like a pantomine cow at Christmas, Mooing at anything with bright lights!!!

New splits, new T3 time. :)

T1: 22.745
T2: 28.885

Sweet 👍

Man, you lot are ridiculous fast with this combo. Great job. 👍 Chuk..... Jesus wept...

I appreciate the warm words of encouragment but stop trying to be nice to me when I'm sulking will you... :dopey: I'll probably give it a few more goes before the week is out but given my current pace, I can't see much improvement coming. The "epiphany" never arrives with FWD cars for some reason. :dunce:

Just to let you know Chris, half of your tune is the results of these splits. I am happy to give you the other half. Keep going with it.

Thanks mate, I'll bite... No promises on improving my time though. :scared:

Anybody have a decent gearbox I can try, seem to really be struggling with mine in T2 for the double right hander and tight left, any help would be appreciated then I can give this another go later on today. I think with my current gears I am going to struggle to find any more time out of them.

Damn!!

Everyone is soo quick this week! 👍

Really need to put some more hours in :( Damn this nice weather and the golf course being so inviting!! 👎

T1: 24.222
T2: 30.582

Slight loss in T1, but a gain in T2 [recouping earlier losses] and T3. Lot more work to do!

Still adjusting gears [same settings except Final @ 4598] and using Plato's LSD; Chris' suspension, but kicked the front camber to 2.0.

Set my first sector times to get on the leaderboard after about half an hour practice, have since faffed around with the set up, spent over 2 hours and not improved at all! Seem to have lost my way and am struggling with the second sector big time!

For the guys who want to know, I ran stock gearbox. I might have some time tomorrow or next monday.

Finally cracking 22's in T1 now, still haven't cracked 28's in T2 yet.
I found playing with the LSD to 6/60/5 and BB 5/7 with Platos tune is working wonders for me. It's weird because this is exactly what worked for me in the Integra. Must be something about my driving style?

I'd like another .1 at T2. Got my target for today, but if I can't get it, I'd happily submit with this.

 just found 3 tenths to the T2 split, and I don't even move up a single place on the board...

Thanks Chuk 👍

I'm at 250km/h gearbox...default is 230 I think....4th gear for the double right, small taps on the gas there to make the car on the right line and 3rd gear for the left turn before T2, staying inside of the corner there as much as posiblle! This combo is a classic "slow in fast out"...

Yeah, my biggest problem is the last corner in T2, final sector feels good and I'm about half a tenth of my best in T1. It's an interesting challenge, when I first saw the power it had, I wasn't expecting much due to my aggressive driving style, but it's becoming enjoyable.

Some new splits.:)

22.873
28.881

This lap has a poor T3 and I have a dirty lap that is faster in all three sectors, so I am not done with this quite yet.:sly:

Nice splits Ash 👍

Ye gods, I can't resist keeping coming back and having another little go here and there. Tried some setup adjustments and knocked a few tenths off.

T1: 22.847
T2: 28.918

Not liking T2 at all. My T3 is pretty solid however, so all may not be lost this week.

I can't get on with those sort of gears, but thanks anyway. I have a pretty good T3 but always mess up T2 :banghead:
