Looking forward to running this after two weeks of shaving walls! Have run this track since GT3 and I'm not sure I still know how to drive the second tunnel properly - I guess I'll find out in a weeks time

Here are my splits after my first session to get the car tuned a bit.

35.698
34.463

My Current Tune, with car showing 566 HP at this time -

Aero - Max

Gears -

3195
2315
1752
1409
1176
1007

Final - 3383 Top speed shows 195 in top box

LSD 5/5/5 (Found it was giving a lot of throttle on understeer before I started tuning suspension, so I turned it off)

Suspension

RH -31/-37
Springs 16.0/13.0
Damp (Ext) 7/6
Damp (Comp) 7/6
ARB 6/5

Camber 2.0/0.8
Toe 0.0/-0.10

Can't wait to try this combo.
Mostly because it gives a break from walls, I don't think my DS3 could've taken a 3rd week in a row of walls.
Hopefully I'll get some more play time this week than what I've gotten the last 2 weeks.

Good luck to all, especially my D3-ers, looking forward to hopefully another real close battle this week.👍

Some initial splits after some tuning. Some cars I find hard to tune because when I first drive them theres nothing wrong...it was just slow for me compared to everyones splits. When I was racing the AI in the seasonals I didnt change anything or add any power. But I know for sure it needs to turn alot more without being uncontrolable. Got the turning part figured out so far.:)

T1: 35.730
T2: 35.245

T1: 35.718
T2: 34.821

Same wild tune when i get on the gas, just upshifting on the slow corner exits as I hit the throttle. It lugs so much tho. Will try lower transmission top speed setting or adjust the individual gears now. Anyhow tune the transmisission because otherwise the tune pretty good for a DS3 anyhow.

T1: 35.830
T2: 34.525

transmission changes didnt help. Lowering my camber from 2 2 to 1.5 1.5 helped and yet the car seems to turn just as well at high speed. Brakes have much more stopping power as well.

First session, 10 laps.

35.718
34.284

Basic tuning adjustments so far, will try https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=5660880#post5660880
on my next run, should have some kind of more track specific tune up tomorrow, I can already tell with R1's and all this power it'll be an animal this week, so tighten them britches, boys.

Millross
This track has the hardest third sector of any track, imho. I'm also struggling to control this car, hopefully someone will come up with a good setup!

Really frustrating first session :banghead:
Says the guy with the quickest T2 so far.

EDIT: Another tune, no idea how it drives yet, but for those looking:https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=5675888#post5675888

First 100miles with Kevin's tune, super fun, but some mistakes that I'll wait to iron out before posting splits.

The "turned off" diff seems a little strange at times, hard to describe. But nice otherwise, and seems like a great combo. 👍

Wow how ironic, last week I was driving this exact same car around this track! Guess practice makes perfect ;p

I'll be trying to attempt this assuming I can pull myself away abit from NTG 2011 and that new patch/DLC.

New splits after finding out my stage 3 wasn't installed

I'm very surprised. I don't understand no difference in so little setup changes. But i never think i am bad at setup. Maybe i need practice with making little changes.

The tune I qoute is already a very good tune, therefore there are only tiny adjustments to be made on each track

I don't think you need practice at finetuning, you are already on fire on every track 👍

Did my first 10-lap session this morning, managed these splits:

T1 - 36.167
T2 - 34.846

Last sector is difficult to find a rhythm through, gonna try and find one though in my next session later today 👍

35.688

Technically it's not "off", just limited as much as possible, so I did not quite say that the right way last night.

I found that the car acted fine under braking, and that for the generally wide corners on this track, I was not having trouble getting traction on exit.

I think turning it all the way down particularly helps as you feed throttle back in on some of the long, sweeping corners. It allows you to get back to full throttle much sooner, since you don't have the same risk of understeering out into the wall.

In general, I was trying to get the car to rotate for those corners, while still maintaining the grip that comes naturally to this car. As with any tune, it's always a balancing act.

New splits using the tune Speedy posted and adjusted.

36.134
34.580

I kind of skidded out of control but managed to pull it right into my driving line with some advantage it seems

Ah, I think I now where that happened. Was it the last turn before the end of T2?
Happened to me too once.

exactly, it will probably never happen again or when it does it'll make me lose time.

Long track ,its difficult to not make mistake(s). Better time but not happy still.

T1: 34.965
T2: 33.472

Holy ****. Ok I will stop trying to catch your splits from now on. You go racing with your alien friends.:scared:

Your gears are spot on Kevin.👍

This hapened to me once as well its incredibly much faster. There are so many of these fluky things at this track. If the track didnt have them i would find it incredibly dull and boring. It feels longer than 1 lap at Nurburgring to me. Ive done endurance races in previous Gt games at this track so Im happy to see in GT5 they spiced it up some. Or my tunes just way to darn wild.:)👍

Edit: Yeah I really hope Super Sic and Seismeca get made official members ASAP. Even when Im slow I always want to know just how fast its possible to go.
