Still working on a setup I like. So far I am using mostly stock with the following changes:

Max Downforce

Ride Height -22/-34

Camber 2.5/1.1
Toe 0.0/0.0

Trans - Max 180mph

Diff - 10/9/7

Brake Balance 5/7

I love this track. Not loving the car so much but a good setup will fix that. 👍

If you see my lap you understand. I have big drift on exit of tunnel and bad line on last turn. This is 0.2-0.3 lose in third sector. I'm not happy for that. Sector 1 & 2 very happy.:)

Bad T1. But reasonably happy with the lap as it's just my first session. I'm running with Kevin's gearing and LSD and my own suspension.

Edit: Infact, thanks for the entire setup, Kev! Used everything 'cept LSD (Silly control pad!)

I ran TCS1/ABS1/Strong AS and LSD 15/48/15 I think, for anybody who is interested.

Yeah, seconded. I ran some vastly improved splits that I was pleased with and...BANG! Over 1 second down on top-spot. Way too good! :)

FTW - the Bandai Direzza and this car are very much not alike, pretty much different settings everywhere.

Thanks Chris, I've been racing with aliens online lately. Guess they infected me a bit. We'll have to see what others pull out.:)

First session, I think I've spent the majority of the past 2 hours tweaking settings rather than racing, haha. Anyway, I've modified Chris' settings a little to my liking and may modify them a bit more.

T1 - 35.423
T2 - 34.173

Excellent Combo 👍

EDIT - I also put the LSD to 5/5/5 and top speed is 180mph. Beep Beep, CSL :lol:

Dom, why are your rear springs so hard (17.8)? I haven't driven the car yet so take this with a pinch of salt, but wouldn't you be better served by dropping the spring rate for improved traction and increase the rear bar instead and then reduce rear DF to fine tune the balance (as I assume you're try to get the rear to move around to dial out any understeer). I see Speedy has gone a similar way on spring rates as well...

Just a thought since you don't like the way it's driving, hope you don't mind :)

I tuned mine from scratch without looking at any others and ended up in about the same place. Tried extremes at both end, tried to find the end of the car I wanted stiffer for the balance and turn in I was looking for, and ended up where I did.

Fair enough, like I said, I haven't driven the car yet, it was just an observation. I assume you don't have any traction issues? There are four tight corners on this track that lead onto long fast sections, so optimisation of traction zones would be important I would think?

I'll guess I'll find out for myself tonight :D

The car is actually a bit understeery in stock form, so my tuning was an attempt to get it to rotate.

And nope, no traction issues. ;)
