same as, in fact my to 3 times all .08 apart cut the first chicane :grumpy:

And my next best .2 off that couldn't be saved :(

Definitely. My current fastest is so slow through that chicane. I'm so wide of the rumbles its unreal!

Very agitating, as on both those laps my split was 3.3 :grumpy:

Anyway sent my car to my main account so I could paint it and can't send it back till after reset, so I can't get any more laps done till then.

WRS Admin/race Stewards:

I am neither, but I think I can answer some of your questions.

With over 400 miles and all options added [turbos cannot be added on my car, by the way, I have yet to see anything higher than 459hp!

I think this was already addressed earlier in the thread. Basically, 466 = 459, it just depends on the scale of measurement used (metric vs. imperial or something like that).

The red-bolded text above includes the green rumble strips [see below pic] as well, correct?

The Race Specifics and Standard Clean OLR Rules sections of the OP do not seem to always be compatible with each other. My understanding is that the applicable rules are those that are in the intersection of both sets of rules, that is the most restrictive interpretation possible. So the green rumble would not be considered track. Same goes for run off areas, even if they are tarmac. I hope this is a correct interpretation, let's wait for confirmation.

I think I'm gonna walk away from this for the rest of the day.

Thanks, Daniel, for the hp variable.....I forget about that.

Little confusing to me referencing that "rumble strips are track" and then the green rumble strips are not. I understand the flat green not being track, but rumble strips, whether red or green, seems to me would be track, the particular way it's laid out. Can't remember if the earlier WRS qualified between the red and green, and don't remember which week that was. :grumpy:

And the two pics below with the black and yellow markers, seem to indicate, at least to me, that the green rumbles, in fact, should be track. Maybe not.

I'm in the exact same position -- sliver on the red/white, but will hope to beat it with a future lap.

Nice T1's btcanon, you got below 23! 👍

EDIT: Oh and Mike, I tried 7 laps with the DS3 last night and didn't have the square button brake problem that you're having. :(

I'm trying, I just have to be more consistent with it. I am all over the 22's, high and low, I have seen .6xx but cant tie it to my other sectors, they end up way high.

I wouldn't want to encourage cutting them that close, because it puts quite a time burden on the replay checker, but if that's the "worst", I'd say it's fine. Mine is even closer to the line! :dunce:

First hour or so....very difficult. Not really sure what's going on in T2. T1 seems rather easy by comparison, T2 I found insanely hard to not plough off on lesmo 1 or ascari.

Hmm, must just be me then.

Managed a few .7xxs in T1 now, still having trouble with T2. I think I've hit a good T2 once that was on one of my slowest laps 👎

EDIT:

And as if by magic.. shame about the T1 though.

22.939

That'll do for me tonight. Jack for the tune, I like it. Though I lowered the front to 0, suited me better.

Thanks MilleRSVR and Anastasis, I'm now on the right track!! No chicanes. I will pay more attention, maybe.

It's nice to see Bryan [btcanon] with some company in D5!

I don't get much time for this, almost everytime I have I was the only one. Pretty easy to get gold in your division when your the only one participating! I'm thinking btcanon should be div 4, look at him way up there!

I think I ruined this week for myself by starting on SS tires. I'm racing my ghost and not the track, getting more frustrated than faster. I tried plugging in my wheel but just made it worse. I have beat the ghost but not clean. Oh well I'll keep trying.

I have improved a psychotic amount over the last few weeks, and learned an immense amount. I never thought I would be as quick as I have gotten.

Guys, my week has been cut short, there seems to be a new weird bug which makes the game freeze when you do a lap of a track, the track appears to be completley random though, cause I've heard of people having trouble with Le Mans 2005 No Chicane and Tsukuba, unfortunatley my chosen track is Monza no chicane.:banghead:

It wouldn't be too bad if I could restart the game and do some more laps and hope for the game not to freeze, but I'm not in that position because here is the state of my disc, it doesn't really work all the time.

So I've submitted already and hope I can cling on to the top spot in D3.👍

Maybe it's not a bug for you and that track, maybe it's just the code for the track happened to be where the crack is? :dopey:

...or if it's only happening at the start/finish line, it could be the old bug where a particular ghost (best-lap replay) is the cause. If loading NO ghost, or loading a different ghost fixes it, then it's this old bug.

Well I usually get a half-second or so pause when crossing the line with a ghost on, but this bug happens quite a bit before the start-finish line, I'll try with no ghost tomorrow.

That's fine Cote. The red/white rumbles are legal, so you have 2 tires on legal track areas.

Just ran some new splits

Hope I can catch Lou!!!

Dropped over .2 at the line. Hope this is good for a podium in D3!!!

Justin.

Wee bit better but the martinis took their toll....gained in T1 but lost some in T2.....still running from default start...142-144 at the line.

Will do the turn-a-round restart between now and the deadline for the 155-156mph @ the line....when I can get the mix between the great tunes posted and some coffee. :sly:

New splits:

Thanks for the setup Jack.

Go Viper Go! lol

Nice having another great D2 DS3 driver trying I know Im not screwing up T2 bigtime. Hopefully you can find something to make the tune better. I want to see a DS3 driver do a 39!

We need Spud_Skills.:)

T1: 22.932
T2: 41.128

After reading alot of the setups, I sprinkled a lot of Vagabond on my real world setup and was able to roosty Littlez showz finally. I'm happier w/ how it slides through the turns and rockets out. 👍

T1: 22.907
T2: 40.882

I don't think that I'm going to use Akmuq'z cracked disk trick though
