Frustrating few laps very late last night I managed a few 39.7s but couldn't finish the lap. Hoping for a 0.2 gain on the lap in today's session.

Would one of you aliens be willing to share a T1 replay? I just can't seem to figure out why I can't brake any later into turn 1 and hold it in.

I'm not an alien either but here's my 22.644 1st sector. Lit the tyres up too much which probably cost me a tenth.

I'm new in this, i'm not sure if i'm doing this right..

You don't even need to include the t1 and t2 bits, just the split times on a seperate line will do it but you need to change the time format to xx.xxx since its fractions of seconds, not minutes and seconds 👍 And welcome to the WRS

Nice job on the tune Chris, really stable coming off the corner and it certainly helps in the 2nd sector. I normally really love the brake on the front end and chuck it into the corner, your tune seems to stabilize it for me. I've dropped my Force feedback aswell on this one to 5, as I normally run 10 and thats seems to help over the kerbs. 👍

Yeah vagabond, that looks about how I do it, but i cant seem to drop below 23. I don't think I am getting the top speed you are, so I'm not getting into the corner as fast.

I've already had 4 oil changes on this thing because I am running so much.

Are you hitting 155/156mph across the start/finish line? That's the speeds I have been seeing. Don't be afraid to turn in a little earlier, it will feel like you're going to smack the wall on the right, but your momentum should usually avoid that.

EDIT: Thanks for the vid and kudos, Chris! 👍 I hit a couple high 22.6's last night too, but could never match my 39.9 T2. T3 is seeming pretty constant for me, despite being so long and having quite a few turns in it, compared to the sparse T1 & T2.

Being more scientific with this one, and ignoring the tunes you guys put up cos they never work for me.

I have only had about an hour so far and i'm close to the sub 23's for t1 and i'm well in the 41's for t2 so i'm feeling good.

Recon a 22.5 and a 40 are on the cards Thats my target anyhow.

I like how this car handles too, feels really really good after that slip, slide last week.

Mike, It doesn't want you to slow down! I'm handy with a DS3, so I'll give it a shot on my next session and see if it does the same for me. I'm a right-stick-forward for gas, square for brake DS3'er, when I'm not on the DFGT. 👍

I can do a 22.5 in sector 1 now but then outbrake myself into the chicane, or go off at Lesmo 1. I can see a possible 39.5 now too but holding it together over the lap is going to be tricky difficult next to impossible. Looking for quite a bit in sector 3 too after a surprise finish on one of my slower laps. So I'm aiming for another 0.5 over the whole lap hopefully.

Tranny Trick with a XXXmph or final gear.
Im not sure how to go about setting up a tranny trick?

Im using Carlos version 2 set up and I can get 0.5 off my best between sectors 2 and 3 but keep screwing the final corner so end up .17 slower.
I love the handling on this setup but wanna try this tranny trick but just dont understand it.

It just means that you set whichever it is to what is stated.

Be it Final Gear, you reset the Gearbox to default and adjust the Final gear to what is stated.

Be it Top Speed you reset the gearbox and adjust the Top Speed to whatever is stated.

No chance for me to run this week... Long weekend of skiing/snowboarding planned after finally getting some snow (although not that much). I'll be ready for the 9th anniversary combo... whatever EDK has planned for us. I'll be the last to know as I won't have internet from Friday evening to late Monday night.

@Masquerada - if you're losing time in the final corner then it's unlikely the so-called 'tranny trick' is going to provide much of a solution to you...
