You qualified division 2, this if your first event, and you're 4th on the board out of 60 participants after your first session.

Are you sure you have the correct settings for the event?

Are you using the arcade only car?

Do you have Skid Recovery Force set to 'off'?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure. I was Div 1 in GT4 WRS and probably have spent more time here than doing the quali.

I'll double check though.

Yup, I'm pretty sure I left the SRF on. Damn - thought it was too good. Hopefully I can find time to do another run.

Thanks for setting me in the right direction.

T1: 28.723
T2: 46.238

Like this combo but i can't set a consistently good lap, either T2 or T1 is a complete dud.

Doing a little better.

T1: 27.538
T2: 44.986

Hello Sir Chuk, we meet again

Follow up to the previous questions

Yes, big balls are needed. To the point where you have to accept the fact that if I hit the wall then so be it. Because if you hesitate here for a second to try and be safe, tenths are washing down the drain. Keep going hard until you make it clean, then worry about the next corner!! Lol

I am using 2nd at the Grand Hotel hairpin, and 3rd at the chicane after the tunnel, and also at the chicane as you round the swimming pool.

I'll try to answer as many questions as you guys have, I'm not here to keep everything to myself.

Hey, thanks for the tips, cut a second off by changing my approach to the chicane after the tunnel, really appreciate it!

Pretty challenging this one! Im enjoying it (my first WRS entry too)

My current splits (can still improve a bit)

T1: 27.636
T2: 45.346

Can somebody help me here please, I have tried submitting my time for this time trial 3 times and I keep getting this message " submission rejected as the deadline has past " any help would be appreciated

Are you putting the correct title in? Perhaps you're submitting a time for last week by mistake?

If not then I don't know.

"Your submitted time for week 6 has been rejected as the deadline has passed."

Why??

It would appear there is a problem with fetchy at the moment.
Don't be alarmed quite yet.

Not a problem mate, happy to help.

I don't get how you guys do those T2s.... I can match a 27 flat T1, but I'm about 1 second down on the T2 times. Must just be what Josh said - balls ;)

You're gonna hammer me this week mate. 👍 I just don't get T2 at all.

Just had my first crack at this one and i must say,
Great car !
Great track !
Great tyres !
Hats off to the admin for puting this great combo together, best one yet.

T1: 27.731

First short session (20 laps) today.
Certainly not used with this amount of grip, and it's been a couple of years ago when I drove at Monaco :nervous:
Actually never done it with the wheel...

T1 27.732
T2 45.254

Chicane at the end of the tunnel is where T2 is won and lost. Such a small margin of error in that paricular part of the course but you have to attack it hard to get a decent result. I usually only get it right 1 in maybe 10 runs.

I guess I can disregard my clean-but-almost-dirty lap now

T1: 27.126
T2: 44.609

I think this is a gnats-wing slower than my previous best T1+T2, but it had a much better finish to it.

Tight street circuits are definitely for me I think - I could get used to doing TTs like this :)

Here's that smoke show I promised. :D

You can see a car in here somewhere..........

Haha, fantastic shot Kev. You are smoking way more than me. 👍 That's almost antisocial. :sly:

I've managed another small improvement:

T1: 27.176
T2: 44.240

Still 'pequeños cojones' I'm afraid to say, Josh. Every 9 out of 10 laps is intimate with the barriers and it does get just a tad frustrating :yuck:

Nice splits millross, particularly for your division 👍

I have spent a good couple of hours on this today and I can tell I am going to have to put in more time this week than I have for any of the others if I want a decent result. I do though finally have a clean lap that represents my pace so far.

T1: 27.570
T2: 44.744

I have been quicker in both sectors but I am sure my car must have a magnet in it, as it seems to like to pull towards and then stick to the barriers an awful lot, then again it could just be that I am just an average driver.:)

Magnetic barriers are a common effect ;)

Another baby step for me... need a break from it now but I'm starting to get a rhythm finally:

T1: 27.035
T2: 44.249

Only another 0.5 to find in T2

I just ran my fastest lap and there is a ton of tire smoke. Great fun to watch.👍 Adjusted torque to 50/50 running consistenly faster that 25/75. Fastest splits are from stock settings but only by four hundreths from this last lap.

Barrier magnets aside, this is a really enjoyable mix. Unfortunately, I'm really struggling to get on the pace despite having fun driving the laps. Have done more than 2 hours just to get these splits:

T1: 27.619
T2: 45.179

Can see I'll need to put a lot of hours into this one if I want to get close to where I normally finish. Slow down everyone! :scared:
