GTP_WRS (GT5) Week 71 : GT Academy Special Event

Sorry for the stupidity of my question, haven't competed for awhile now & it shows :-( but who or what are 3D3 & why do I have to FR them?

We will use the 3D3 accounts to verify all submitted times using the friends leaderboard in GTA.

Many of the regular drivers in the WRS also run the official online events and were already on the friends list of GTP_3D3Racing (where all the official online events are hosted) so using these accounts was convenient.

The C lounge is just for those that don't run the online events or who happen to be using an alternate account for GTA this week. That friends list will be cleared after times are verified and the results become official.

Just got in to 1'32's, see what tomorow will bring, 3 more days to go

I know I have a thirty two I me, maybe even a mid to low one but I just cannot seem to get that right handler before the overpass nailed. I'm running wide because I'm too fast or slipping my butt around because I'm too slow. Happy medium please! 💡

I have the splits to make it to 1'30s.. but putting it into one lap has proved quite difficult.(and quite frustrating )

Have the in-laws coming to town on Friday, so I am not sure how much more time I can put into this. I hope I can at least find a few hours because I would really like to nail a lap.

I inferred the correct time from your prior update that this was a 1'33 lap, not a 1'13 lap. Unless you've found some way of cutting the track that we don't know about?

My normal approach to GT Academy has been to run every night I can, and always work to improve in every session, even if it's only 0.001.

Last night, I managed to come within 0.020 of my current best, but was not able to beat it and did not want to stay up past bedtime.

That said, I'm happy to be consistently hitting at around 32.5 with my range being between 32.3 and 32.7. Especially when I consider that my best on Monday night was a 32.8, and that took a little bit of luck. My main goal at this point is to get into the 31's, which should certainly be achievable to a lot more practice and a little more luck.

I just went on the GT Academy leaderboards and it was very cool to see a lot of WRS and GTPlanet members in the top 250 worldwide and region wide. Great job everyone! I wish I could participate but I won't complain about being on vacation either. Good luck the rest of the way.

Looks like my time has been topped by Ren. I had put GTA to the side to focus on WRS races the last two days, so I need to get back to this. On my main account, I couldn't even get it down to the time I ran on my registry account. But both are in the top 500 last I looked, and as you can see from my sig, that's an improvement from last time. 👍
