I actually found out I was in the wrong division in the WRS leaderboard so when I came to report I find this ,Honestly thanks a million Kev and all race admins you don't know how big this is for me oh and thanks alot guys 👍 for your kind words.Time to update my Sig

There is no doubt that participating in the WRS makes you a better driver!

Even on weeks I'm very busy I try to spend at least an hour racing that weeks event. I find that each week builds on the next & the more you race the better you get.

Also the advice & help of the other drivers in the WRS is of great assistant as well.

Sorry for the long delay between promotion reviews, things have been a little busy lately.

First off, GTP_Enigma asked to have his pace reviewed, to be sure his division placement is correct. Based on the review, he's being moved from D1 Bronze to D2 Gold.

Pekka has been taking the piss in Division 3, it's about time he was moved to division 2 👍 Good luck to Douqa, I won't miss you at all and welcome to Enigma, I'm sure you'll be back up to Division 1 in no time.

Thanks Dan, maybe one day I will be quick enough for div.1, in the meantime there's plenty scary fast guys in div.2 yourself included to give me serious bother

GTP_CaptainRoh also has shown some great strides in his recent submissions (Plus, he had that really cool drifting lap video in week 89 ) He's been moved from D3 Bronze to D3 Silver.

Not exactly new but new to GT5P.
Some of you might even remember me.

About to run the qualifier, will follow directions and submit qualifier as soon as I'm done. Until then, Later.

Should have played first... This is a pain, gotta do "events" before buying RX7 so I can use it in arcade right?
Should have enough by now but not enough to also get the car of the week.
Will be back once I've got that or have had time to qualify...

I haven't had the pleasure of posting or racing with you but i know from the days of Cyril and the other stewards that you were the second steward of WRS right after Boombexus retired back in 2004. This post proves your taking over.

Very nice to have you with us. It also proves that chances are that many of the retired old-school GTP members will return to 'active duty' once GT5 will become available, and that gives me great pleasure!

Worked through a few promotions tonight. Some of these are a long time coming and all are well deserved.

Class Promotions -

GTP_wasntme ran his first WRS back in week 73 and has been steadily improving ever since. He's been promoted from D4 Silver to D4 Gold. 👍

GTP_Roomboter has podium finishes in his last 3 WRS races, including a division win in week 93. He's been promoted from D3 Bronze to D3 Silver. 👍

GTP_RB26DETT was just promoted to D3, and managed to find the podium in his first race in the division. And that was on a week with 6 D3 racers. He's been promoted from D3 Bronze to D3 Silver. 👍

GTP_Eriba has become GTP_Arriba. With 6 straight D2 podiums, 2 of those wins, he's being moved from D2 Silver to D2 Gold. 👍

Division Promotions -

GTP_CaptainRoh was just moved into D3 Gold in the last round of promotions. He has division wins in 3 of his last 4 WRS races, and was a D2 podium in week 94. He's been promoted from D3 Gold to D2 Bronze.

GTP_Fastas___ really is fastas ____. (Whatever ____ is ) He has division wins in 3 of his last 4 WRS races, including a convincing win in week 94. He's been promoted from D2 Gold to D1 Bronze.

Congrats to all the promoted drivers. You made it before the GT5 qualifier.

First off Congratulations to every one promoted, you've all worked very hard for it.

Well I am really lost for words, I know I said some time ago that I’ve set my sights on D2 gold or D1 bronze before GT5 comes out, not thinking for a minute that I would make it.

I think most of you know why so I wont bore you with details, the big, big, big thanks have to go to other WRS members like Lin, CT, Ian, Andy, super D1 Fastas Dan, Maz, TA to name but just a few, as without the help that other WRS members are willing to give don’t think it would be possible, plus the great job that Admin do in keeping us all entertained week after week.

We've have a lot of new members into WRS of late.

To all new WRS’ers on your 1st, 2nd, 3rd weeks its is possible, its an up hill climb but very rewarding when you get there.

Having a bit of trouble concentrating on WRS lately, hoping that after the summer the distracting activities will get lower, driving more again already since some weeks.
