Also one of the main principles of the GTP tag is clean respectful racing, when the GTP registry was started with GT5 Prologue. All GTP drivers were expected to read the online racing rules (roughly the same as real professional racing drivers are supposed to by sanctioning bodies like the FIA) and abide by them. When you saw a GTP tag, you knew to expect a fair race and the same still goes today.

Whilst I do appreciate the thought, my personal opinion is that those sorts of "memorials" are best suited to public events where it can be recognised by all. There will only be us in the race, plus a few from any streams that cover it, and I think the effect will be lost.

Maybe others would disagree with me though.
