guys can i maybe join the academy next week just to see what it is and if it could help me i'm in division 3 gold so that's why i'm asking

True,but minus the formation lap ,we have 10 race laps.
Yes,we allowed more div. Gold members to the races.
Sign up for the Elise race and we can evaluate after the race.

I think that's what Sjaak meant. D3G members can be allowed to participate as a rookie, and an evaluation will be made as to your ability. A decision can then be made as to where you stand in the Academy.

I suspect the registration system has been automated so that any D3G member or above, gets signed up as a "veteren". It probably needs a manual overide.

I wanna move up divisions but rubbish in the TT's, could we have race divisions? You race 5 placement races and then you are placed depending how many points you have got (F1 points style BTW) and then you can move up by getting more points than your division, or there could be division tables and the top 3 of each sub-division (i.e D4B) Will then get promoted to the next division, and then you can also get relegated also.

Unfortunately I can't make next weekend's race. Not to worry though, I got my weekend filled with other racing-related activities: visiting the Nürburgring 24h
Sorry Bart but the Nurnburgring is no excuse not take part next weekend, as the race at the Nordschleife only starts SUNDAY at 17.00 !!!!
I am sure you will enjoy 200 cars passing by in the Green Hell.

Hay Speedy yah, since I heard that GTA is around the corner I'm trying to find any advantage I can. I have to rearange my life to embrace the schedule for this program cause it's time to get some realtime coaching. Looking forward to running online again since I spent more money on my internet connection.

Hay "W" it's been a while, I really miss the online stuff but had to make due given that my connection sukd. I think my new 7meg down stream and 2 up w/ a VOIP raited .2x ping service should work this time

I ran this track online last night w/ the Lotus and the tires we used for the combo were hella slick and scatey, are there ever adjustment to the traction loss when the finely tuned offline setup is brought to the online?
I suited up the R3z and got hella traction so somewhare in-between is parity w/ the offline traction feeling. Food for thought

Adjust the tune for an online attitude (the physics are the same online now, but the goal of the event is much different)... make the suspension softer with the springs until you feel it's right... it'll be less likely to ditch you on/after the bumps.
Also, real grip reduction means you can't take the same lines as you would offline... you'll need to keep off the green stuff and if you go on the green stuff it'll be slick for a bit.
Once this car gets to sliding it's really hard to stop it. I've saved it for about 10 seconds back and forth straight during one "episode" and it still wasn't done bucking and finally it threw me!

What Tim said + cold tires for the first 2 laps means you have less grip. With tire wear off you don't have to worry about temperature.
There's more than enough grip after that, though you still have to be careful or it will bite you.

New car Dealership -> Lotus -> Elise 111R '04 -> buy it and then move with it to GT Auto and let it be Race Modified.
Once that's done put it on the B-Spec Indy 500 for 80-ish laps, change it's oil again and you have a fully broken in 111R '04 RM.
Or, someone could send you one...
