I will be at home, but I forgot that we celebrate my brothers birthday on sunday if I stay in town. There is only a small chance that I'll be home before the race starts on sunday.
Are there any problems if I join the Q tomorrow, but might not show up in the race?

Attending quali and not racing on Sunday is fine, as long as we're not getting close to the 16 person room limit. At the moment it looks like that will be fine. 👍

Yeah, sure, I used the suspension, brakes and LSD from Bart's Monaco setup.
Gearbox: reset to default, set final to 5000, then max speed to minimum, then final gear to 4300, and adjust the individulal gears to make the gap between them as equal as possible (they dont need to be that close together, so just minor changes) and dont make the 2'nd gear too long, it reduces turn-in in the slow corners.
Aero: 1250/1700

I'm not at the PS3 right now, I'll give you a more detailed setup once I have acess to it
And I dont have a race setup, but I'm thinking of it... that would be reducing downforce to 1150/1550 and final gear to 4000

I just tried, no go. According to some on the internet it is a Denial of Service attack aimed at PSN. 2 hours til show time, let's hope they get this sorted out soon.
