GTP_WRS-Online : Special VI - 2014 WRS F3[D3] Belgian Grand Prix - Aug 22-24

Unfortunately downloading 6GB of data takes a while, only halfway through at this point.

I had to drop out I was getting frame freeze every lap it got so bad my screen froze for about 5 seconds and put me straight off by time it in froze I was stuck head first in wall and couldn't get out

Well I made every possible mistake and even managed bothering someone without even seeing him. Only saw 7 cars by the end of the race, thought they had DC but it was just that I couldn't see them.
Erazer it's a shame what happened but I never saw your car during the race and I was very careful respecting blue flags because I knew I was going to get lapped, even went off track not be in the way. Anyway I'm sorry if it affected your race in any way.

I watched the replay of laps 34/36. Clearly Roamer could not see Erazer. It is fortunate that it didn't effect the race outcome.

Great racing guys, well done @et_

Very tense at the end @Gravitron :scared:

"I don't always spin, but when I do it's in spectacular fashion" - At least it keeps me amused instead of frustrated.
It seems like in a lot of our races, you and I go into it expecting to be racing each other and usually that doesn't happen because of my spectacular spins. :dunce:
This race was one of those awesome ones where we had some good laps near each other, *then* I decided to spin, almost gave up hope, and I hate to say it, almost quit the race. So glad I stayed in it. Changed my strategy to two stops, as the spin made me wary of going much futher, plus I saw that @et_ and the rest at the front were mostly 2-stopping as well. And then to see how we finished, with a great 1-stop vs 2-stop battle, I wouldn't have cared if I you had been able to stay ahead. 👍 Awesome race.

Thanks x 1000000000 to @Allibubba99 for running a top notch event. We ain't 'fraid 'o no ghostshackers. :dopey:

I was actually talking about my spin, but yours helped to keep it interesting! Otherwise I think you would have stayed ahead of me no problem.

Yes, thanks to @Allibubba99 for hosting and working through all the network issues 👍

Yep, I watched it earlier. :) And it was spectacular.

First of all, thanks @Allibubba99 for the creating, planning and hosting:tup:

second, I was apparentley invisible to @roamer2629 , I thought he was just being a 🤬, but it turned out he just did'nt saw me, like, I was'nt even there from his point of view. Sorry for accusing you of anything buddy, I took for granted that you saw me.:)

I made a video of the parts where it became an issue, from my point of view it looks quite funny at times:
@roamer2629 : You just got to watch the video m8! Your gonna laugh when you see it.

1'st part is at the start, where @roamer2629 and @Friday_GTRP tried to take the same grid position, but I suspect they where invisible to eachother, causing the game to glitch out as f'ck. I'm not sure @GTP_Patrick1 and @roamer2629 saw eachother either?

2'nd part is 1.36 into the video, and is the incident where I tried to pass @roamer2629 for a 2'nd lapping (first lappnig pass was not incident free, but alot smoother than this one). You can see why I was getting a bit agitated, since I thought he saw me.:P

3'rd part is 3.37 into the video, the top cars have finished the race, and @roamer2629 is still racing, unlapping himself. You can see the evasive manouvers he does to get past @Friday_GTRP and @PASM , but when he catches up to me, he plows straight into me. It would have been fun to see if that was in the middle of a long straight to see if he lost any speed, now its hard to tell, but I dont think he did?

Hahahaha I'm the dirtiest driver ever if you were thinking I saw everybody!! What is worst, from your point of view I was defending the position while being lapped, crazy dirty.
Thank god is clear I couldn't see you guys or else I don't know how I would clear my reputation.
ET I understand: I would have been quite mad myself after something like that

@roamer2629 (Nico) you know if you want to prove a point there is better ways than smashing into another car, especially while they are going slow :).
Good to see it didnt effect the result 👍

Happy to see the race go ahead but sad I missed it.

I saw Roamer, but he did not see me. He got me on one lap where we made contact, he never let off the gas and pushed me sideways up the track for quite a ways until my car finally was thrown clear of him. Watching the replay, you can tell he did not see me as he never even hit the brakes as he was pushing me up the track. As far as crashes go it was pretty epic . That one collected Tuesday and Joe as I was spinning out of control bouncing off of walls and Roamer kept on driving like nothing happened (which because of invisibility issues nothing did happen from his perspective).

In hindsight, I should have probably quit the race when the driver count started going down. But this had never happened to me and I assumed people were getting DC, not that they disappeared for me only. By the end of the race I saw only 7 racers, but being a complicated day for the network I thought everyone else saw only 7 too.
I apologize to anyone else affected by my digital blindness :D

There were so many issues yesterday it was a stewards nightmare!!!! We finally decide to make a 10 minute time limit for the start of the race, I think about 2 and a half hours late. We knew a few drivers could not see each other but decided to go anyway. Ended up taking an extra 2 minutes after formation lap to get the standing start going. It was amusing and some what troubling watching two cars bounce off each other on the starting grid. We got it sorted and away we went!!!!! I am looking forward to the next WRS GP. Nothing has been planned yet but there is another "Special Event" coming soon

Thanks guys for a great race. It is unfortunate to hear about the DC's, black screens and invisibility problems. I was lucky to stay out of trouble and had a fun time chasing the front runners. Well done Erazer on a commanding win!

Congrats @et_ on the stellar win yesterday.

Amazing drive by @PASM to get 2nd after starting last, and well done to @Friday_GTRP on 3rd. 👍

I hope we aren't skipping Monza. One of my top 5 tracks in the last two versions of GT. It's even better now that there is an additional version (80's).

We're skipping it.
