He's going the distance, he's going for speed: (just passed 100k miles while racing Fuji for Hyperion Racing) And apparently I like BMW's and Silverstone.

@skyline1683 we're both in the low 41/42 range for overall average mph. I used to be around 60mph avg, I wonder if it takes into account the time sat in the pits online in pre-race practice mode for driving time, because I do that a lot lately. :dunce:

Only 1 way to find out!

@Gravitron as a reference point I have 63,173.6 miles and 751.2 hrs drive time making my average speed ~84.1mph.

I have spent 99.9% of my time offline so I would say there is a very good chance that sitting in the pits during an online event does add to the "drive time". Curious what you find out.

I do spend a lot of time just sitting in the pits in online lobby's do I would say your spot on that it takes it in to account.

Make sure to watch the live feed this Saturday and Sunday for GTP_ES 24 hours of the Nurburgring (no not the F1 track). Many WRS guys including the DART (Disabled,Antique Racing Team ) made up of real old guys and beat up guys who LOVE TO RACE. Come on and cheer and or Boo as you must. Google it on youtube.

I was so drained from the Nurb 24, that just finding this now..

Eternal, Lucas, and Bart, it's very nice of you to extend something like this to me and the others..
I really appreciate it.. Sorry for my hasty exit on Sunday.. I drove the final three hours at the Ring earlier and was very tired and sleep deprived.. And feeling really beat down again after having something that was intended to make it easier for me on pit stops cost us so bad again.. I absolutely LOVE driving the Nordschliefe part of the track though..

I really wanted to race the little Honda later too, but I was struggling to keep my eyes open by then..
I tried..

Sleep...now there is an interesting concept.......
here are some pix of our driver @RobbiefromBC AKA Robbie Arthur. Thought you might enjoy them. He is the tall kid on the right...he still does not have his DC drivers license. He plans on trying for Silverstone next year and will continue as DART's Tame Stig.

Edit: He does have his license...well mostly.

I'll get him to come here for some racing as soon as his Real Racing is under a foot of snow.:lol:IMG_0868.JPG IMG_0866.JPG IMG_0867.JPG IMG_0870.JPG Robbie at Mission Aug 2015.jpg

It's either looking towards Silverstone, or rebuilding another vee with my name on it! Decisions decisions...
Yes but arn't you buried in snow until June...you can do both..come on...if you win....you won't need the Vee until you are your Grandfathers age.

Not in this area of Canada... They don't call it the pacific rainforest for nothing! I don't think I'll ever want to leave the vee permanently. If the rare chance that I do actually go places occurs, I'll find time to run the vee in-between races!

Pretty much never. I tried Le Mans with the P1 cars because of the rewards, but it was a corner cutting fest.

Those look even better in person don't they?
Great find.
Yeah, for sure. This is the closest I've been to one, only seen them off in the distance the ~5 or so times I've seen one on the road. Even went back by it for another look during lunch today. :D It's got the Pininfarina styling package, based on the badge I saw on the side.

Plates were from Alberta, CA.

Hi all,

I'm new to the GTP OLR. I just submitted my best lap to fetchy in this week's time trial. Will I now be automatically in the leaderboard? Or do I need to post split times in the thread?

You may have noticed the board has a splits section and a results section. Your submission, unless rejected, is already headed to the "results". You had the right idea about split times, there's typically a delay of 0 to 15 minutes to see them up.

So I have to post my first six section times in the thread to fully register my times in the event? How do I receive these split times? Do I fetch them "manually" by looking at my replay in gt6?

Six indeed. Yes, you won't be able to use the live timing function. So pausing the replay and fast forwarding is the quickest way.

Anyway split posting is optional so if you'd rather do it when there's less sectors (I can't say next week because that could be misleading) or something, it's fine too.

edit2: I realized you already tried this.

According to the sticky "Guide to the Leaderboard and Fetchy" thread it says the following:

"If you are a member of WRS you can post your splits in the weekly threads following format:

T1: 0'45.123
T2: 1'12.123
Of even in the short format:

45.123
1'12.123
Fetchy will pick these up and you will be placed on the board."

You are hence saying I shouldn't need to do this?

Sry about all confusions! Hasn't been easy to set up everything for online racing here at GTP so I guess my brain is a bit overlooked now :banghead:

@slater1 The guide says "can post" not "should post". But it is more interesting to have competition arcs, where you can see others improve besides yourself, isn't it?

I realise this is probably a stupid question but i've tried the search function to no avail. Is it possible to play a replay direct on a mac rather than transfering it to the PS3 to play?
