Me and the last corner are not on the best of terms, threw away 2 T1s that were in the 23s and a split 2 time which was just over 0.1 faster than my current best. :( Now I've had them times once I am determined to achieve them again and this time, finish the lap without flying off at the last corner.

Amazed at how many people are submitting splits, and how close together all the times are.

I can't seem to make friends with the left just before the chicane. Most common reason I blow a good T1/T2.

(Of course, not being able to share T3, who knows? Maybe I'm blowing the rest of it too!)

@mistersafeway Wait, you use X and Square?!?! Dude you gotta switch that out, or you will never get the best times possible on the DS3. R2 L2, or right analog stick, whatever you prefer but you need something other than crappy analogue buttons.

Here, very old video and for GT5, but it applies just the same for GT6. This would be my recommendation for DS3.

I'm tapping out with these splits:

24.906
50.256

I feel like there is an optimal 0.3 left for me with three perfect sectors but I don't have the skill to string them all together (I'm a face button DS3'er too). It's been fun though 👍

T1. 25.567
T2. 51.267

Also, shouldn't the theoretical fastest be best T1 + best T2.
After a quick scan of top twenty I think that would be:

23.942 + 24.850 = 48.792

I only use the DS3 when I'm too lazy to use the DFGT, although I did actually use that layout for everything, including the X2011. To be completely honest, I'm too lazy to drive most of the time, I've put ~2 hours into this combo so far (all with my wheel) and I'm actually enjoying it, which says a lot about me as someone with 14-20 hours free time every day and a massive love of driving. Lazy, lazy, lazy.

Nice one Mike. 👍

Thx Andrew! and thx for the ''like'' guys!
my t3 isnt that good though

theres about 0.040 i lost in t3, im not too sure if i will be able to improve, but ill keep trying later in the week!
Im just happy to have finaly cured my problem with t1, i was so inconsistant and couldnt find where i was doing an error until yesterday, and today was slightly better! :)

Goodluck all!

You lost almost half a second in T3? Phew!... I mean, that sucks. That last little chicane is tricky to get right. Either I take it too hard and understeer into the grass, or I go through it too slowly.

The other Andrew here...

S1: 24.459
S2: 49.542

7 laps total... And I'm more than pleased with the result, I've seen slower S1/S2 times from guys a few divisions above me. :) I might catch up to you all soon.

Andrew, you div 3 silver not div 2

3. You, me and Monster-Energy71
Well, hello there fellow Andrews! :D

I just submitted my time. I'm surprised that it took me 7 laps to run a "miracle" lap that I can't recreate again. I was seriously in my zone. I love AWD. :D

Edit: Geez, that was fast.

No, no I don't mean my lap time itself - but rather how quickly the WRS guys (bot or such) posted it up. 👍

Question I have, though, is why isn't it showing up that I used my G27? :)

The bot grabs the splits and puts them on the board every 15 mins.

Here's how to add your controller device.

Slightly worse splits (traded time between the first two sectors) and gained only 0.04 at the line. Guess I'm still showing too much mercy in my thrashing...

24.650
50.050

First splits put me dead even with Nish:

24.450
49.634

Will revisit this combo after the online races at Fuji tomorrow.

That's a useful video Oink. I also use the X and O buttons for accel/brake...I tried the L2/R2 buttons but couldn't get on with them (probably not helped by using them in Shift which just made me question the point), may need to have another go with them and try and get used to them, although I have got quite good at feathering the throttle etc with the face buttons. Trouble is I'm not sure I have the concentration to be using all 4 shoulder buttons! Was planning to learn to use manual transmission but now not sure which to do first
