Is it faster to go around this track with the car pointing forward? Or sideways like I've been doing? Despite my testing the durability of every inch of Armco, this is still a blast to drive! I need to go figure out how I'm losing 3 entire seconds in sector two before I post a time.

The double left before the climb towards T2 is critical. I try to go as wide as possible in between them to get on the throttle early for good exit speed. I'm finding less sliding is faster.

After my first try I love the car except then it hits a bump and gets lighter! So my question to the aliens in the group is.... Should I have the weight of the car shifted to the correct side before I hit a bump or just lift off the throttle going over the bump, let the car settle and then shift the weight? The bump I am having the most issue with (not the only one) is the one coming out of the second tunnel. I am usually way out of shape as I come to the top of the hill for the down hill left hander afterwards.

1st splits for TT #121 in a row!

What I usually do in this kind of situation on a FR or 4WD car is to brake earlier and keep some little acceleration to not spin or loose the car over a bump. With this you can have good traction and control to go full throttle on corner exits!
Hope this can help you Al @Allibubba99 !! :)

@deaconblues82 I believe if you are not doing a Drift kind of race, it´s always better to maintain the car straight, pointing on the right direction ! Maybe maintain some acceleration, as I said above on the other anwswer could help you too instead of go sliding around!

Well...that´s my opinion and my driving style, of course and may not be right or wrong I guess.... Hope to help you guys on your laps!
Cheers! :)

Thanks! I'm pretty sure that turn and the first turn in sector two are my kryptonite. Finally getting it through them without all red tires!

Tons of room for improvement. Missed a lot of apexes. Haven't raced this track much.

Splits from the first session:

25.750
55.134

This car is not as easy to handle as I thought, it's very sensitive to weight transfer, anyway it's an enjoyable one, it rewards smooth steering.

I have seen my first sub 26 T1 but can't quite turn it into better T2 (still in mid 56s). I'm dialing in the final sector though. Shaved .4 from the lap time.

Okey-dokey...now that I'm in Div 2 I feel the need to really step up my game...so some new splits while the wife is out Pilates'ing (I think that's a word?!?)

26.250
55.916

That is easily my best Sector 2 but I have seen 25.9xx T1 so probably looking for another 0.3 to feel like I've nailed my best lap 👍

This is all kinds of over the show, what the 🤬 am I doing driving.

Not having much luck so far.

I feel a little dumb asking, but I'd rather get a verdict now and not during replay verification.
So, is this dirty?
Thanks all.

I see where you guys are getting the hundredths, but I'm not sure I'll be able to get them...

First splits. Fun combo! It's quite good fun to toss this thing around in the corners. I need to clean up my last two sectors. Especially that last turn. Haven't figured out the right way to take it yet.
