All in third gear, pick a speed so the car does not slide (it will understeer a bit through the second apex of the right hander). Up to forth gear on the exit of the second right, then back to third for the left at the bottom of the hill. Again, don't slide wide here, pick a speed to stay in control and the tires out of the red zone. I can't for the life of me do the fast right over the hump flat out, so I have a little lift (about 3/4 throttle) going to the top and can be flat just after the apex.

This is a start point, once you can do it without sliding excessively, you can start to pick up a bit of speed (a couple of MPH) and see if sliding will improve or hurt your times.

👍 Thank you :D

I am having real trouble with the 'corner combo' right after T1.

Any suggestions on the matter of

SPEED
GEAR

very much appreciated.

I would say. First corner of T2 back to 2nd to brake the car down soon back to 3rd. Beginning of the next corner back to 2nd and brak a bit let the car coast to the apex and before the apex back on the gas a bit just over the bump to 3rd up to 4rd brake at the curbs on the right for the lefthander and back to 3rd. Keep the exit tight for the next righthander and make sure your in 4rd to go over the hump. Flat out is possible but got to be on the right line. Between the hump en T3 line up to 5th

Good luck

I'm not sure if I'll get to beat my ghost anymore, but my internet was out last night. When I load up my replay, it just says B. White instead of GTP_Wins / B. White... can this still be accepted or do i need to re run while connected?

I think its been mentioned before that you don't need to be signed into PSN on your submitted replay but I'm not sure where it was said. I'm sure Fetchy would tell you if your submission wasn't okay though.

Thank you 👍 very nicely broken down :D :gtpflag:

New splits with more than .3 at the line:

25.184
54.034

Slight improvement on splits (ever so slight lol) but a really great T3 that I don't think I can beat (it was so clean and I didn't panic).

I'm a strange driver.. but I use 3rd gear. all the way around those bends.. :P

Slight improvement:

25.183
54.150

Slightly worse T1 but better T2 and about 0.2 at the line.
Again threw away a 53.8xx on the last turn! Just end up botteling it under the pressure but will hopefully manage before on my last session on Sunday!!

Eventhough I'm not even relatively close to an alien in terms of speed, I thought I could add my 2 cents about the first corner of T2 too.

It might be tempting to turn into the corner as soon as possible, but that should be avoided, as it's really hard to get a good exit if you turn in too soon. Instead, at least for me, it's been fastest to go quite wide on the entry, maybe even make the car slide a little bit, so that I can rotate the car towards the exit and slam on the throttle asap.

It's possible to have the car lined up towards the small straight pretty nicely, before hitting the last (real) apex of that corner. I also accelerate out of the corner on 2nd gear to avoid the low rpm oversteer, and change to 3rd when I'm absolutely sure that the car is in a straight line and I won't lose the rear.

Also forgot to add splits I got on my yesterdays run:

24.850
53.284

That run also prove me that there's still at least a .1 (probably .5 if someone else does the driving) of improvement left on T3 for me. That last corner is so weird, not sure if I can ever perfect it, and that might kill my otherwise decent lap in the end.

Back to drinking.

Managed to find some time to run again for a short period this morning, improved by a full 1 second at the line
25.583
55.051

I know there is a bit more time I am leaving out there but not sure if I can run again before cut off, busy weekend ahead!

24.916
53.466

And I'm done for awhile.. this is aggravating me to death.

We're so conditioned to abusing track boundaries and sticking two tires on grass or whatever else lies over curbs I'm actually masochistically enjoying these rough curbs that make you pay when you try to dip two tires where they should be put. The fastest line is actually to keep all four tires on the track... golly gee! I don't mean that to be sarcastic, but after my original annoyance with these abusive curbs I've "turned the corner" so to speak. :dopey:

Its not the corner cutting thats getting me, its my car control. Its tough usin a ds3 on this one for me

New splits not happy thou very scrappy and two mistakes in t2 cost me a lot of time saving grace was a epic T3 to beat my pb by 0.3

T1 25.042
T2 53.498

I can understand that... it's tough enough with the wheel! You should photoshop a broken DS3 right in front of the front tire... that would make it more clear.
