About a half an hour more gave me one or two faster laps, with upto point three second improvement.

T1: 25.800
T2: 56.117

Burned rubber significantly in three corners... I wish I could see that in the rv mirror, then it would make sense to have it there.

First go of this tonight. Really tough combo for me but think im starting to get the hang of it! First splits:

25.052
54.219

Will hopefully improve on this as ive seen a 54.0xx at t2 but messed it up on the last corner which is the only one i seem to consistently get right!

Hello, who's copying who? Well done, great improvements.

T1: 25.867
T2: 56.117

NSFW : not safe for work

From "The Urban Dictionary":
Not Safe For Work. Used to describe Internet content generally inappropriate for the typical workplace, i.e., would not be acceptable in the presence of your boss and colleagues (as opposed to SFW, Safe For Work).

Hey!

T1: 25.800
T2: 55.400
Bye bye!!

It's a tough one. Less than a tenth at the line.

25.567
54.850

Have to use the driving line because no markers.

@ohitsyoubob : I think you can make the TCS setting stick the same way as the ABS, even between sessions, by going into car settings once you've loaded the track (i.e., same trick used to make mileage stick).

I can't do it. I think this is about as good as ill be able to get this one. Just cant figure the combo out and it's really frustrating me..

25.433
54.550

Was about to give up on this for the night, but then took a deep breath and focused on slowing down to speed up. Shifting to keep it between 4000 and 6800 rpm as that seems to be the powerband.

25.166
53.666

Too many 6's! :mischievous:

And who says PD can stop the off-road debauchery? :)

Repost your old splits and Fetchy will sort out the leader board :)
Ah sorry, I was just heading to bed and not been able to get online since, thought it would revert back to my previous when I removed the times.

Anyway, managed a slight improvement.

After my "on it" session yesterday, I made the mistake of stopping to eat and couldn't get back on it after that....and had pretty much decided I had got as far as I could and would rest the RS and await the next TT. However, I have looked at the S2 Split leaderboard and I am in 3rd place in Div 4.....while I realise that there will be some who haven't posted splits, it is the first time so far that I have been in a podium position on the splits board! That has given me motivation to try and improve...fingers crossed I can actually improve

I'm quite getting the hang of it now. Got college work to attend to but improving my splits has been at the back of my head all the while. Decided to put in some time today and here goes:
T1: 25.211
T2: 54.078

Reckon I can do better, much. Just need to find the time to devote.

Wow, you all are really getting to grips with the combo :nervous:

I had a 20 lap go last night, but after a couple of days out of the seat, this combo beats you up! Only got within 2 tenths of my best time... And I think I'm done too.

Good luck to all, this one's not for the feint of heart 👍

I am having real trouble with the 'corner combo' right after T1.

Any suggestions on the matter of

SPEED
GEAR

very much appreciated.

All in third gear, pick a speed so the car does not slide (it will understeer a bit through the second apex of the right hander). Up to forth gear on the exit of the second right, then back to third for the left at the bottom of the hill. Again, don't slide wide here, pick a speed to stay in control and the tires out of the red zone. I can't for the life of me do the fast right over the hump flat out, so I have a little lift (about 3/4 throttle) going to the top and can be flat just after the apex.

This is a start point, once you can do it without sliding excessively, you can start to pick up a bit of speed (a couple of MPH) and see if sliding will improve or hurt your times.
