I am not sure if they do, so I have been just restarting after I hit them. Guess I could of checked if they reset. That would be nice, feel like I ruin my flow by restarting.

Just ran a few laps trying to hit all of the red cones (you don't win anything if you do). They don't reset unless you bale and restart - sorry for the bum steer

If by restarting you mean retry, it is enough, cones won't reset automatically if you do not hit the retry button

I have been exiting, but I will hit the retry button the rest of the weekend, or better yet, maybe I should just not hit them at all.

Quick question about the dark cones, if we happen to hit one during a lap, should we restart the session so that they are reset, this is what I have been doing.
Following up on this one..

If a cone has been knocked over at a corner, and then as a result you are able to cut where the cone used to be, I would assume that is considered a dirty lap?

If it's where a RED cone was then your lap will be deemed dirty

Look at the replay, I have not done it yet. But I assume it will be like it used to be, where the cone is shown in place on a best lap replay, even after you hit it.

In any case, no mowing those down and then driving in that space.

I will look myself in the next hour or so.

Final splits for tonight

19.644
22.372
26.602

Not the best first sector but thanks to EDK I have improved my second sector by a couple of tenths.

Still more to come off, I have had better final sectors than this:cheers:

You can buy me a pint. ;)

Really sketchy lap but it's faster so I'll take it. If I can shave at least half a second of the total time of this lap I'll be happy.

19.775
23.373
26.907

Used icemans settings, perfect for my driving style, knocked almost .9 off total time. Sector times were off on my best lap but nailed sector 4.

About .8 off optimal at moment, realistically I will be happy with .5 gain.

20.632
23.412
26.915

Edit: Haha gained .9 at line and didnt move a spot, man I was slow through S1 that lap. :banghead::irked:

Snap shot at a higher speed would be better but based on what I see it looks good (I am assuming that is an orange cone you are about to knock into orbit)

Yes, its the last chicane orange cone, the tires almost touch the white line, that made my doubt

Treat white lines exactly like rumble strips. As long as the bottom surface of your tyre is touching any part of the the white line then you are good đź‘Ť
