On another note, everyone needs to be sure and run for some extra time after setting their fast lap. I know it's tempting to exit straight away and go save it, but even if you just do a cool down of 10 seconds or so, that should work fine.

The issue is that the replay will cut off early and we can't see the time.

I will add something to the OP, but please take note.

Struggling today, any tips for sector 2? I just can’t get it right I’m all out of shape
You are faster than me, so take this with a grain of salt. But I recall from the qualifier we did here, and realized in my session last night that you want to cut that first right hand entry quite a bit, which opens up your line for the rest of the sector. Obviously don't hit illegal cones or run completely off track with 3 or more tires/wheels, but make a generous cut there.

Once you've done that, you should be able to hold flat until you are setting up for the right hand hairpin/sweeper that is the exit turn from the sector.

I find a tiny (partial) lift leading into the corner to optimize line is best for me. I am sure the really fast guys can hold flat AND get the line right.

Yeah, I effed up. Checked replay, ends early. :dunce: guess I'll have to improve :sly:

:banghead: Someone please hit me in the face, yesterday forgot to save my best lap, so need to make a step back and add my previous top time to the board :banghead:

So if there is a cone off track but you still have 2 wheels on you are aloud to hit it?

Uff, back with better time (by .03) with worse splits (T1 better, but seen a .05 faster one)

18.859
22.604
27.011

still lost .2 in T2 and .1 in T3, but gained .3 on my best T4 time so happy. Looking forward to string those best splits together to reach my new goal (like 5th or so so far ^^ )

So if there is a cone off track but you still have 2 wheels on you are aloud to hit it?
Only the driving marker cones, not the darker track cones. Mainly because those are boundary cones.

Not the red big cones, If you don't use cones as markers for turns, then you should keep yourself aware of hit the cones at all

So contact with the cone in the right hander where you said to cut is fine then?

Just to confirm what others have said, If you have marker cones set to on in your driving aids (these show as orange) you can obliterate these all you want as long as you maintain 2 wheels on the track but if it's one of the darker (red) cones then you may not hit any of those anywhere

Quick question about the dark cones, if we happen to hit one during a lap, should we restart the session so that they are reset, this is what I have been doing.

In that case I can see improvements thanks to EDKs helpful tip for second corner of sector 2, I was going around the turn instead I’d cutting slightly

Improved already thanks to EDK

I thought they automatically reset when you started a new lap

I'll have to go back at it with you. Mine freezes just after I pass the start/finish line

It's OK if it freezes after the line and shows your lap time...it's only an issue if it freezes BEFORE you see your lap time 👍

I am not sure if they do, so I have been just restarting after I hit them. Guess I could of checked if they reset. That would be nice, feel like I ruin my flow by restarting.
