I'm consistently getting only 130-131 mph at the line, but that's the least of my problems. I'm really losing time in that left-hander before the first tunnel. I can't get the car to stick at anything approaching the speed you're carrying in that turn; I'm a good 15 mph slower in the tunnel just to keep from chroming up the tunnel wall.

Hmm, that sounds odd. What kind of tune are you using? I'm running with doodlemonoplys tune and gear settings, maybe give that one a go?

T1 could be improved by a tenth or two, probably some left at T2 too, but T3 has left me absolutely clueless. Just how are you top guys taking that big lefthander after the downhill, flat out? :lol:

Iain is correct again, your name had reverted to Firecracker on the LB. I've fixed it again. Sometimes Vaxen doesn't have enough time to get caught up on all the little changes that everyone has.

A softer-sprung version of Kevin's (I can't handle the bumps with springs as stiff as his settings). The odd thing is, though I'm nearly a second slower than him in sector 1, I'm within 2/10ths of his times in sector 2 and sector 3.

I'll have to see if I can find doodlemonoply's tune and give that a shot.

Pretty happy with my progress today. I've settled on my tune and and stopped adjusting it .
starting to find that little bit extra in all sectors thou I've not hit that lap with four PB sectors yet ,my current time has two so I know there's 0.3 for me to find over a lap.

With a 0.211 gain at the line ..
 
So many tunes, so little time (and so much pain in my back/right knee).

Andrew's (doodlemonoply's) tune, while it helps me immensely in the entrance to the first tunnel where I have been struggling with lift-throttle oversteer, is otherwise too tail-happy for me to use.

Kevin's tuning is what I had been using as a base, but with softer springs (7.25/12.75), a different ARB (4/5), softer brakes (3/3 - I lock up the fronts at 4 and above), no camber because of the bug, and a stronger LSD decel (24) to try and get the lift-throttle oversteer cured (only moderately successfully). Maybe I should bring the front down from 72 to 70.

That didn't work consistently. Time for something else.

These are the settings used for the lap that's on the board. I haven't tried any other tune so I can't give a comparison, but from some of the comments, it sounds like its just a fuzz tighter than Andrew's(Doodle) tune.

It can get a little squirrely through the chicane before the sfl, but I have just used less of the rumbles through there to help it out. Other than that, its pretty easy to hang on to. I hope someone finds it useful.
 
I used willracer's tune, but reduced rear aero a little for more rotation. Another good combo!

Try reducing the rear toe a tad. I'd be interested to see if it helps a faster racer as much as it helped me on turn in!!
I also reduced the rear aero by 15 points.

Addictive combo 👍 T1 and 2 are bonkers. Turn 1 is a crapshoot. I'll try DM's tune later. How the heck DM and Will are getting .3 and .4 T1s is beyond me, great job guys.

Question about the numbers here, I was able to get the first 3 gears set, but for the final 3 my system would only go up to 1.572, 1.253 and 1.047. Was the max speed also lowered to get to these settings?

Using the quoted numbers with the exception of gears 4,5 and 6, I was still able to shave off a few seconds!

Recent rain flooded my work which stopped me from having to be there until late and gave me a chance to unleash the fury on my virtual Elise! This combo is seriously addictive, flinging that little rocket around is great stress-release!!!
