Ummm we all wear our team colours/colors

That's now 4 I count - this is going to be confusing.

Nothing wrong with it, but I have to spend longer than a quick glance to see who's posted - I am very reliant on avatars on this forum.

Micky go here:

But The Muppets is a full team of 6. If you're a DS3 user there is a team for just DS3's otherwise post your interest and you might get asked to join a team, or create your own and invite people to join.

You're really going to hate it when 5 and 6 show up :D

It was my idea :P

New splits, have done 60 laps in total, so miles off the pace.

21.044
36.377

My times seem to indicate about 0.2 left altogether in the first 2 sectors. Have spent 90 minutes on this, not including the paint, much less than I would normally.

Can we negatively affect our handicap?

Yeah but you have a premium badge, so you're easier to spot. :D

Jordan....Jordan....remove my premium badge please.....lol

Can we negatively affect our handicap?

If you mean can you make your handicap worse then not at the moment but watch out for posts on this subject as I believe that the Admin group are discussing whether the "no damage" rule will continue

My Bad, I meant the other way round, as in dropping from div 3 to div 4. Sorry, slightly too much whiskey!

Not unless you request it. Nothing bad will happen to your handicap if you don't improve as it currently stands.

When I first started the bad results were added to my handicap, but I never got demoted.

I think you can edit the visibility of your Premium status in your profile somewhere.

Oh well, another run tomorrow, and in we go!!!

Had an hour of non-stop lapping trying to find minor changes that gave me better sectors, finally got the hang of it but could still only muster another 0.05 at the line:

21.017
36.117

Sadly my last sector is not as fast as my T2 would suggest but an improvement in the lap is an improvement nonetheless. I really liked this combo, slower cars are definitely what I enjoy most 👍

I wrote this about the first corner in T2 a few pasts back:

As for the last two corners of T2:
  • Approach in 4th gear
  • For Surtees (the left), I put two wheels slightly on the right curbing on entry. I have a small lift as I'm turning in, backing off to no less than 50% throttle. On a good lap I can stay on about 70-80%. I try to place JUST the left wheels on top of left curb at the apex. I don't try overly hard but it is best to get on the curb a bit. By the time I'm at the apex, I'm back to full throttle.
  • The approach to Macleans (the right) is a result of how smoothly I carved Surtees, but on most laps the car is still pushing and it is a quick flick of the wheel to transfer the weight to the left. I'm aiming for the apex with the left wheels (both rights well into the grass). The braking point for clear ways is in there too, right around where the left wheels are just coming off the apex curbing in Macleans.
Hope this helps a bit :)
Thanks much!! I will and try it right now.

Around a tenth at the line.

20.937
36.187

Been trying for a few hours today to improve, but I made tiny steps only. Once, I got a miraculous T2 that would have put me right behind Al (and ahead of Lucas :mischievous: -- at the time, anyway), but my ghost passed me right at the start of the final turn... Very hard to be consistent...

I tried on and off a few times today. I beat my best twice for a total of .02, one hundredth each time. I then matched my best time on the nose to the thousandth. My rankings board has all 8 lap times within a tenth, I am probably not finding that last elusive tenth.
