Certainly not my best first sector, as I saw multiple 40.1xx but by far my best second sector ... good for 0.3 sec at the line.

40.567

Exiting track at the end of the run saves the BB, not sure why it doesn't do the same as GT5 and save no matter what. :(
So we need to do at least one lap in order to mantain the values we changed in the RA?

Changing BB from RA huh? Why not just change it in settings?
Just change it in the car settings menu and you won't have that problem.
As tuning is prohibited I skipped that possibility.

I assume this is clean.. but just making sure.. as this was my fastest lap.. but not my best splits..

No, on my brief runs at Monaco I kept forgetting to change BB, noticing at the start, then changing it and quitting right at the start of the run. It makes adjusting the BB much easier than going into car settings, but still needlessly complicated. Hopefully we'll see a tweak to it at some point.

  • Red and white rumbles and tarmac inside white boundary line, including the line itself are legal track. No other surfaces are track.
It's clean as a whistle, if you cross the green area inside the rumble strip with 3 or 4 wheels then it's dirty.

Good to know, thank you. 👍

As I said, I always start my days on the race track with a couple of rounds in the sand trap. This helps getting the rough body surface that I am convinced helps achieving better speed. But it has to be fine grain. Preferably it should have been supplemented with several brittle colouration spots as well, as I use on my daily ride. It doesn't help cracking bumpers with cones,;) that only affects the phase negatively for a long time. I've witnessed that on my better half.

Ahhh. I see. That explains why my speed is so bad, too many cracked bumpers and too little time playing in the sandbox. :mischievous:

Splits:

I still dont know how to treat this lady (this car for me is a she, cause its so hot and complicated):
I have been using gentleness, when I feel I need to be more severe she runs away big time, so I will work on the balance
@Nemo Niente , behave yourself
Pls dont exagerate you D4's. I only can get back to the fight next weekend :ouch::gtpflag:

As for the Lady of the week --- *sigh*

Chris, this combo is brilliant! I had a lot of fun with my first few laps.

Having read the thread before I ran my first laps, I decided I would start with safe laps and gradually increase my speed. I was thus able to run something like 20 laps in a row with only one red lap (loss of control) and improving the lap time on almost every lap. By the end, my splits would have put me right away at the bottom of T2, while it usually takes much longer for me to get up to speed of my division.

I will run again tonight and post my splits from last night if I can't improve then.

PB is not phenomenal, saw enough high blue to know that. But I couldn't do it; several hundred km more and I've got two laps that are half a sec behind. I must be doing the opposite of what I should.

Looking at the track map, I never noticed corner 3 was a 180 degrees! It felt like 100-120... Now I will approach it slightly differently

That and try corner 1 in 2nd gear.

Those are some killer D3 splits, you sure your car is spec'd correctly? No tuning parts this week.

Jerome

Yes im sure that my car is spec'd correctly and the whole lap is completly clean Jerome! I didnt tune my car (except for my brakes), its fresh and clean.

You might want to try submitting your lap now to see if it passes Fetchy's checks. Better to know now than at the end of the week, if something is off.

You have to admit, something looks off here, especially given you placed about where you were expected last week.

Nice splits @KlubbinJay 👍 Are you a RR specialist? I'm not and your giving me a complex with those great times :scared:

No im not a RR-expert, but you need to know where and how to use your brakes. Nurnberg GP/D or GP/F are one of the most driven tracks for me and my crew, the car is quite easy. Its better to race/ride with a stock RUF RGT at Nurnberg than every other highpowered tuned car overthere. The RUF RGT is kinda heavy with kinda a regular engine (for its type of car), the only thing that will makes it hard is the SH (S1) tires, but you will get used to it! ;)
