You might want to try submitting your lap now to see if it passes Fetchy's checks. Better to know now than at the end of the week, if something is off.

You have to admit, something looks off here, especially given you placed about where you were expected last week.

Wait what?!?! I really drove clean and stock, the only thing ive adjust where the brakes. Im not going to RE-DO this again, u know why? because this time took me 7hours to reach, and it was INSANELY hard to reach. I also broke my steeringwheel almost just because i had a lot of understeer. So sorry Gravitron but im not going to REDO this again.

I didn't say redo it, I asked you to please submit your lap to see if it passes Fetchy's checks. Your posted splits are 0.4 off the fastest and we don't often see that from D3 drivers.

No one said anything about redoing the lap - just submit the bestlap replay of the lap that gave you those splits, that'll clear anything up that might cause questions.

@KlubbinJay : Even if you did submit the lap like Gravitron asked, you can still submit another lap later if it's quicker as Fetchy will accept faster laps (I have submitted 2 laps to him in a week without issue). I can understand where you are coming from as you feel like you are being questioned but, from the admin's point of view, they are used to seeing people outperform their division but usually by not so much.

Back to the RUF, have been playing with brake biases today. Changed to a 7/6 which gave me a new faster overall lap time and a new fastest S2 split, though no PB sectors. Then went to a 8/5 bias and this also gave me a faster overall lap time (I am now 2 tenths better off than yesterday), matched my S2 split and set a new PB S1 of 40.9. The 8/5 bias seems to work well in S1 but not so well in S2. Will keep experimenting:

S1: 41.064
S2: 1:08.247

Well, some tracks are made for me. And some are just too hard. Nurnberg is just an easy track for me, the car didnt made it easy for me... everthing is clean what i did at the week 8's event.

@KlubbinJay : maybe just maybe you forgot this part :

  • Grip Reduction on Track Edge: Real

If not, I would say :bowdown: to your splits...

Yes it on real...

I did send the replay compressed as a zip-file to fetchy before my time entered the leaderboards

Maybe he is just a better racer on this track and in this car than his Division placement suggests? :)👍

The testruns to enter the WRS by racing the Renault Megane at Willow Springs was too hard for me because im not used to drive/race on a track like Willow Springs and also not to drive a car like the Megane. The BMW M3 GT at Brandshatch was not easy to but was much much better then driving the Megane at Willow Springs. My time at Brandshatch was kinda good during the testruns of the WRS but i screwed it up at Willow Springs (I really hate that track). So thats why i entered the 3rd Division. I know (and u can ask my crew) that i can drive at a lot of tracks with a different amount of cars but some cars like tracks are so :BLEEP: that i donnot enter the top 15 at all. Nurnberg is one of my favorite tracks and the RUF handles kinda well (if you learn to drive it and get used to it) so the combination is tricky but good enough to reach a quick and clean time.

So actually you are a Division 1 driver wearing Division 3 colors, now this is cleared out, and if you keep preforming like you do now, it will all be sorted out by itself, due to handicap promotions, keep up the good work Joey 👍

I second that 👍

Thanks Guys! :) This actually makes me happy again! :)

Here is another reason I love WRS. It makes me race on tracks I would otherwise probably never learn. Yesterday I ran some online races at the 24hr config of the ring. I was way faster on the GP course section (only to get spanked on the old circuit).

Okay, first splits:

39.969
1'06.335

Enough to escape last in D1, but only just. T3 was okay. Managed splits of 40.067, 1'06.184 shortly after, but messed up T3 and was 0.021 slower at the line. :banghead:

I seem to be struggling to find time in T1, plus the chicane keeps catching me out.

Best way to do better: complain that you're not doing very well :D

39.816
1'06.066

Lost about 0.05 in T3.

EDIT: Looks like there's plenty of D1 drivers this week, up to twelve already 👍

New splits
T1 39.991
T2 1:06.119

And the award for most ambitious exit from the chicane goes too ......
ME!!!!!

Another session and getting a little better...

39.723
66.004

Need to clean up the middle section and the last turn... back to it :)
