 Phillip and great splits Maz.
I doubt you'll see much of a battle this week Phillip, as Maz has made so much progress with his G25 that he is clearly D1 Gold standard now.

May I remind you, young man, that you kicked my ass in 2 of the last 3 WRS I have competed in :D

And thank you for the kind words Phillip, but it's still early days 👍

All the best
Maz

Up to press not done well in any of the tuned events to date, this week looks like its not going to be the exception either.

I'll use these as a starting point and see where i go from here.

T1: 0'54.885
T2: 1'40.281

Phillip. :grumpy:

I found it was planted to the track. I had tonnes of grip. Maybe a slight bit of understeer in T1 but other than that it handled great.

What a difference a few hours make..
I'm using the exact same stock set up with a minor tweek to the gear ratios & now the thing handles like crap?! :yuck:
The rear has no grip :nervous:
So I tried a few different set ups, nothing helps the rear end.
I just get so much oversteer & I have very little traction now.
It seems like my first time done will be my best 👎

Man, and I thought week 93 was tough! I find myself all over the track with the Tamora, sometimes even off the track. Oh well, I'll try again when I have more time.

T1 0'55.982
T2 1'42.422

How much did he pay you to say that? ;)

My T1 was slower, but T2 and final time are both improved so here is another update. Although, I did several laps after that, and not even close. I think I'm all played out for today, not focusing properly.

T1 0'56.154
T2 1'41.809

Splits from my first session, loads of time out there, this is a sloppy lap.

55.167
1:41.121

Are you sure you didn't run in the standard event the first time by any chance? :dopey:
Could explain the change in handling.

I just got my Replay for Week 93 & noticed my replay for this, let the details pop up and... Standard :banghead:
Why did it change my settings to Standard?! I always run Pro. I guess my times are invalid then :grumpy:

Possible you went into Intermediate PP800 Suzuka on your first run when settings your splits.

And not the Expert PP700 Suzuka.

Phillip.

You selected the wrong online event.

I'm honestly not sure why this is getting to be so much of a problem for people. :grumpy:

We went through more than a year of prologue WRS without one indcident, and now we have 2 submissions (weeks 74 and 92) with standard physics. And, while it's not the same mistake, several submissions last week for the wrong track.

All I have to say - READ THE FIRST POST. READ IT ALL.

New Splits:

T1: 55.175
T2: 1'40.734

Gave up a bit at the end up that lap accidentally downshifting through 130R. :dunce:

Man, I have no idea what I'm doing so wrong. I can't get my T1 under 56 seconds... I managed to get 55.9 one time, but most of the time it's 56.2 or so. Where is it most likely I'm losing so much? Any tips on this track? I can't even come close to my fastest time I pulled off yesterday... :(

You have to be smooth through the S curves and quick through Dunlop and Degner. That's the key parts of T1. It's all about getting the rhythm down for the lap.

I had a really set up (by my standards anyway ) which i now lost after too much tinkering. Getting annoyed with it i doubt I'll try very many more times.

My sector time is faster than yours, Earth. I think I'll be able to squeeze some more time out of this car just yet. :D

Thanks for the tips Porsche. :) I was losing the most in the S curves I think. I tried them a few times, and noticed my gear ratios were crap, too fast for 3rd, too slow for 4th. I adjusted those, and the S curves are a lot easier to handle now. I managed a 55.5xx. Still not perfect, but definitely better.

T1 0'55.802
T2 1'41.675

Whoa, this is a lot harder than I thought it might be. I ran my best time half way through my session, whilst tinkering with the settings and....didn't better the time but lost the settings in the process :banghead::lol:

T1: 54.822
T2: 1'40.391

Remember guys, you must save the game on your own when returning to the main menu even if it's set to autosave. For some reason the game doesn't save settings made online during the autosave process.

I deleted your entry in the leaderboard. Good thing you striked through your splits based on STD settings 👍

Thanks alot, sorry for the stupidness. I thought being so far up was too good to be true haha.

Was on my non-GTP tag PSN with the Tamora and ran a faster lap while messing with the setup. I know I can run the lap again, it's just a matter of nailing the lap. Well, I can probably go even faster than that lap I ran.

Just trying to find a setup that gets rid of the oversteer, and the understeer into First Turn.
