At race speed, without draft obviously, I hit a whopping 193-194 mph by my braking point for the first chicane. Damn I'm flying.

lmao   MEGA! lol lmao not to worry though......The porsche curves section is flatout in the Zonda....It is the funnest thing you will ever do....

I'll test tomorrow to see how high I get. Are you Doing a standing start at the beginning of the straight or going through Tetre Rouge at speed onto the straight?

I did the test for my car at 600hp(this was 2 weeks ago)....I did both types of starts and it deosnt really matter because my car just bogs out near 200 with 600hp. I didnt keep getting faster......

Ive noticed on all the races that the viper has 2-3 mph over the lm race car..The CLK lm race car is actually really well off in fact.

The CLK was doing 198-199 borderline 200. into T1 at Daytona on average. I was doing 193. The Zonda about the same maybe - 1mph but the Zonda got there a hell of a lot faster with the high rpm turbo and more horses. The test car was doing 193-194mph into Turn 1 at Daytona. The viper was doing 2-3mph over that...

so thats how i have been extrapolating.....The reason i give the viper 205-206 is because the viper has the high rpm turbo. Same for the CLK. I have a retarded supercharger which does nothing and when i lowered the hp to 571hp it just wrecked the torque curve in the top end.... So i imagine ill be hitting 195mph at the end of mulsanne.

The ZR1 will be on speed dial the entire race lets not even discuss that lol.

You talking about La Sartha?

Man peter, that CLK is a-freaking-mazing. I haveno idea why you were b*tching at the beginning of the season, cuz man it's fast. I ran a 1:26.9 on my first timed lap, and followed up with a 1:26.7 on the second timed lap I ever ran in the car with over .4 to spare for a good lap. This thing is so forgiving too, and rugged.

Yeh i do admit that the corvette will be super fast at La Sartha its almost all straight which is what the corvette does well at drive very fast on straights and in corners

I don't think the Spec ii test car will be that slow at Monza tbf. The Lesmos, Ascari and Parabolica should even out the straight line speed advantage. Previous form at Monza has it down as Jav win in the Ford in Season 1 ( multiple pile ups?).

Hi Jav I was just wondering why you guys chose to ban TCS completely. I only ask b/c I use a controller, and I feel like banning TCS makes it impossible (or very, verrrry hard) for me or other controller users to compete.

Not complaining, it's obviously your prerogative, just wondering on the reasoning. I would have liked to have competed if it wasnt for that, but I see you're planning on less horsepower next season. Maybe that will ease my pain and I can throw my hat in.

I agree I am forced to use a controller as well, after losing the power cord to my wheel and as well as not being able to afford a proper rig for it. It is tough with no wheel but Im in div2 so a TC setting of one is allowed. Also I didnt know TC was banned when I joined the rules said a setting of one was allowed, I guess they decided div1 didnt want/need it.

Very seasonal car, to be honest. I couldn't get it to do jack at Suzuka and Indy. It was only after that, with some tune adjustments, that i finally got it working. Still the better part of 7 tenths off in Qualifying at Daytona, though.

I'm looking to get it to a low 26 by race day, which should put me right alongside the Fords, which will be running 25's in both hon and lucky's hands.

Have you seen my racing this season? I'm doubting that I'd hit such lofty expectations!

At la sarthe, i top out at 202-203, running a 3:40....

At Monaco I'm running solid 28s.... This race is going to suck....

i was bearly getting into the mid 26's before getting castrated now 27's so maybe your car should get cut as well:tup:
i ran my car almost out of fuel and still can get close to your time
thanks Tissimo man this car is gutless now thanks again

That Ford, at least in my hands, can do a 1:26.2 easily. I never bothered to try anymore after my first lap, because I needed more running time with the car I would actually be driving.

Don't blame the car, I just have an affinity with Monaco. I just love the track so much, and I just know where to place the car exactly, all the time, when to accelerate, brake, turn, and exactly how much I need to.
