2015 Starboard Serenade
2015 Starboard Serenade shown in Windjammer Pearl
The Serenade is a mid-engined sportscar that will compete against cars like the MX-5 and the FRS/BRZ twins. Powered by a unique 2.4L E22 Inline 4 producing at least 200 hp at least to the rear wheels midship and I will have a 2.5L Turbocharged V6 S24T shortly after launch that produces at least 310 hp. The design for the Serenade was inspired by vistas of the Caribbean and early 1990's and 2000's supercars, mainly the NSX. The Serenade is going to be marketed as a 2 seater affordable sportscar. The Starboard Serenade will be avaliable with 4 trims to start.
1. Tortola,
2. Bonaire
3. Nova Scotia
4. Quebec GT
Now on to the Radiance Range, which consists of the Wagon, Sedan and Coupe.
2015 Starboard Radiance Range
2015 Starboard Radiance Sedan Oahu in Viking Crown Metallic
2015 Starboard Radiance Estate Skagway in Cascades Metallic
2015 Starboard Radiance Coupe Vanuatu in Izumi Orange
The Radiance range of vehicles is available in three body styles, a sedan, coupe and a estate. The Radiance is going to be available with 4 gas options and 2 diesel options at launch. The engines that are available are a 200 hp 2.4L E22 four found in the Serenade, a 1.6L 220 hp Turbocharged R22T I4, a 1.4L 160 hp I4 R22(Europe-only) and a 3.6L 300 hp RV24 V6 for the gasoline powered options, but for the diesel powered Radiance models, Starboard sells a 1.6L 150 hp turbodiesel R24d four as well as a 3.7L 270 hp RV22d turbodiesel V6. For the design of the Radiance range as a whole, I emphasized on having glass everywhere in the cabin because that is what you see on each Radiance-class vessel and I also wanted to use mainly straight lines and curves for the coupe and sedan, while with the estate I just wanted to use just straight lines and a little bit of roundness for the design.
The Starboard Radiance range will be available with 6 trims to start.
1. Skagway
2. Auckland
3. Honolulu
4. Vanuatu
5. Icy Strait Point
6. Oahu
2015 Starboard Jewel
2015 Starboard Jewel Antigua shown in Tides Blue
The Jewel hatchback is based on a shortened Radiance platform and will compete against cars like the Ford Focus, Renault Megane, Peugeot 308 and Volkswagen Golf. The Starboard Jewel comes available in 6 gas powered engines and 3 diesel engines. The base engine is a 1.3L R22h 130 hp I4, the other 5 engines are the mainstay across the Radiance range, which mean a 143 hp 1.6L R20 I4, a 170 hp 2.0 R29 I4, a de-stroked E22 (1.8L R23T that makes 200 hp) and a turbocharged 1.6L R22T making 270 hp. For the turbodiesel options, the Jewel has the Radiance's 1.6L 150 hp turbodiesel R24d four as well as a less powerful 1.2L 105 hp turbodiesel G10d four. For the Jewel's design, I still emphasized that glass is going everywhere in the cabin, so I made the Jewel have large windows that lead into the interior cabin and for the body shell I made the use of a line crease that leads all the way to the hood.
The Starboard Jewel will be available with 8 trims to start.
1. San Juan
2. Ensenada
3. Puntarenas
4. Puerto Vallarta
5. Victoria
6. Seattle
7. Antigua
8. Cartagena
2015 Starboard Brilliance CUV
2015 Starboard Brilliance Cozumel in Pacifica Metallic
The Brilliance CUV is based on the Radiance platform and will compete against cars like the Ford Edge, Chevrolet Equinox, Kia Sorento and Toyota Highlander. The Starboard Brilliance comes available in 4 gas powered engines and 2 diesel engines. The Brilliance shares the same engine lineup with the Starboard Radiance range. the engines that the Brilliance can be powered by are the 200 hp 2.4L E22 four found in the Serenade, a 1.6L 220 hp Turbocharged R22T I4, a 1.4L 160 hp I4 R22(Europe-only) and a 3.6L 300 hp RV24 V6 for the gasoline powered options, but for the diesel powered Brilliance models which is also shared with the Radiance range, Starboard sells a 1.6L 150 hp turbodiesel R24d four as well as a 3.7L 270 hp RV22d turbodiesel V6. For the Jewel's design, I still emphasized that glass is going everywhere in the cabin, so I made the Brilliance have large windows that lead into the interior cabin and for the body shell I made the use of a line crease (the Brilliance's line crease is unique in a way that I took inspiration from how the ship looked and blended that into this design), but I used more parts from the ship to create the design because it is a crossover SUV. The line crease moves up to connect with the hood more in a curve to create a more luxurious feel to it.
The Starboard Brilliance will be available with 8 trims to start.
1. Halifax
2. Rockland
3. Tampa
4. Helsinki
5. Geiranger
6. Cozumel
7. Key West

Q3 Starting Cr. - 239,164 Cr.
Q3 Starting Cr. after purchases - Cr. 209,489
Prices have been changed for certain cars.
I got a ton of money this time around, too.
Question:
How would I make fully electric cars, not hybrids work because I want to make some electric cars for later on, even if they are based on the same platforms I already have?
I don't think anything's going to stop you.
Took me a minute to find my old post, and add the new Cr. to it.It took me a whole hour to make that Post-Q2 report.
Yeah, but I had to sort my new factories and my new model and everything.Took me a minute to find my old post, and add the new Cr. to it.
It took me a whole hour to make that Post-Q2 report.
Same magazine as beforeToday, we have returned to the headquarters of Austell Automotives, in an attempt to learn more about the plans that they have with their expected profits. There, we spoke yet again with the CEO of the company, Zachary King.
Q: "Hello again! How has everything been going with your company?"
A: "Hello, and welcome! It's been going smoothly so far, I'm eagerly awaiting my profit reports, so that I can start developement on new vehicles."
Q: "I see. Can you tell us anything about your plans?"
A: "Well, they're still in development of course, but I'm in the process of building the new 'Evasion' model. Expect two engine options, as well as two transmission options for it, one of which being the Automatic transmission found on the base model."
Q: "Excellent. Any idea on prices for those?"
A: "I haven't priced them yet, but my goal is an affordable luxury sedan, so expect it to be priced accordingly."
Q: "Alright. Any ideas on other vehicles?"
A: "We expect to make either a pickup truck, or a sports car with our profits next. We're not sure which one we'll be making, as profits greatly affect that."
Q: "How are you expecting profits to be?"
A: "Probably not as high as I'd like, what with being a new company. Hopefully enough to fund all my plans for this upcoming quarter."
Q: "Any plans to enter the Goodwood event?"
A: "Not at the moment I'm afraid. That's no place for a family sedan! Maybe, depending on profits, we'll visit next year."
Q: "Okay. One last question: Where do you draw inspiration for your cars?"
A: "That's a very good question! I don't really know to be honest. They just sort of come to me. I will tell you though, I plan to go old-school styling with the pickup truck, when it goes into development."
Q: "Alright. Thank you for your time. Would it be alright if we come back after you recieve your profits, to discuss your plans some more?"
A: "Come back any time! The doors are always open here."
Car & Driver special feature: We're back to interview the CEO of Rennen Automotive to check up on how they're doing after seeing them a few months ago.
Q: So, welcome back! Is everything good?
A: Welcome, nice to see you again! Everything is quite surprising, actually.
Q: Oh, what do you mean?
A: We made a huge profit. It was crazy, but we have enough to develop our new cars.
Q: So, new models.
A: Oh, yes. We have our Mazda MX-5 fighter, the Excel. Lightweight and powerful, and the engine just sounds so good.
Q: What else?
A: The CityRO. At first, the name sounds very odd, but actually, it's really just City and ROtary. It's meant to comply with Japan's Kei car regulations, so it's tiny and has a small engine, but packs a lot of punch.
Q: Big question; future plans. What are yours?
A: Well, at Rennen, we're making a so-called 'budget supercar.' It'll have our 2 Rotor from the Berlina, but it'll be tuned to push out nearly 50 percent more power. We're also making a small crossover, and a large luxury SUV. But don't think for a moment we've gone soft; those will have to meet the same driving expectations as other cars.
Q: What's your idea of a 'good car?'
A: It must drive well. Steering feel, performance, handling, the lot. All of our cars must meet these expectations. A good gearbox, and also good safety is always key. Styling is also a factor. Remember the Fiat Multipla? Exactly.
Q: Who designs the cars, anyways?
A: Ahaha, I do! No, really. I'm the lead designer for the company. Fisker may not have pulled it off, but I know I can. I draw in my free time, not always cars, either.
Q: Well, thank you for having a nice talk with us again!
A: My pleasure. Come back anytime!
