Also, I cut down on the purchased dealerships, to bring me to 26 total with the ones I own

Eventually, I'll figure out how to nerf you all.

@BKGlover Is it possible to have two factories in one? For example adding another compound to existing compound and creating a factory able to build 100000 cars in quarter.

No, but you can a second one for the same location. Thinking about putting a cap on the number of factories you can have as this has all become absurd.

Don't we have to wait for our Q4 profits?

Umm...No. If you have the bones, why wait? Have you SE......nevermind.

Also, this will be Annual Review Week. No sales, No (more) purchases, just organizing and getting everyone on the same page. Ah-K?

That said, I'm now working on Q4 and have reached a point of revelation. The reason you have to wait so long is because I have to have almost all the information from everyone to determine sales, at bare minimum I have to know what cars are going where and how much they sell for so that I can adjust the demand factors to simulate this. THAT allows me to get everyone's potential sales, but then I need production numbers for each variant, then production costs, and from there it's basically numbers matching. The alternative to the way I'm doing it would be to either have you all do it, not sure how as I don't build around Google's stuff as some of you know already, but even then it could be a disjointed mess. The other way is that you get the money for a quarter AFTER THE NEXT, meaning Q1 funds would be acquired on the first day of Q3....by design.

I'm trying to make it easy for you , one trim per car, and I just made that post that put into a T chart every transaction I've made in the game to that point

My system was much simpler; if I had done one quarter per week like in this game I wouldn't have been spending an hour every night doing profits and the game would have gone on and been fine. That, and the fact I ran the whole thing on my phone before I had a laptop.

That being said, the more complicated system is probably more accurate. Mine had several flaws I never had the chance to work out.

Thank you, noticed, and much abliged.

This has become way more complicated than it should be
You have no idea. I have no idea, because I fear this could get oh so much more complicated.

Oh, there will not be a Showcase event for Q4. Not sure if I want to keep them going period.

You know, after redoing the sales tables and going over a few things, I've lost the will to work on this right now. I'll see in a few how I feel. Later.

Nope. This was thought out, at many angles, so that it was a game that could be sim-like. Nothing like what eran fleshed out, but what I thought was enough to be good quality, all while able to be done in a forum.

The damning words are "I thought". When I think, everything goes to crap.

I knew this had become more complicated, but I thought I could handle it. I knew some odd things would be thrown in here and there, I thought I could handle it. I knew this was ambitious, as did TB, but I thought...Do you see a pattern here!

What am I saying? Well, first I'd like to apologise to @GranTurismo916 ,@Tunerguy21 ,@titleguy1 ,@JMoney689 ,and @WhiterunGuard , and anyone I'm forgetting, for jumping down their throats without merit. Then to @chef211 and @Vanatic for luring them into a crumbling tower of BS. I'd like to apologize to @TB because I made a big deal about this. I apologize to @eran0004 for managing this so awfully that his game may never see daylight. Lastly I apologize to everyone outright for playing a game run by an absolute idiot. There is so much data that I don't think someone can take over without being overwhelmed themselves, and a straight-forum-post setup is not conducive to this game. This game is dead, and it is by my doing. If you want to see what I have RIGHT NOW, Make a conversation and ask for it.

I'm sorry @Jahgee1124, @GranTurismo916, @Beeblebrox237, @ildd, @DurWinning, @Tunerguy21, @Carmain2K, @ProjectWHaT, @Legro, @eran0004, @DCybertron, @JMoney689, @Driving Park, @RedDragon, @NW48, @Brutaka, @italian06, @WhiterunGuard, @titleguy1, @Dagger311, @chef211, and @Vanatic .

I will apologize personally before locking all the convos for this game.

It was fun while it lasted. I think that the sheer number of participants overwhelmed you. After all, you're only one person who has a life outside of the internet. 👍

Right here. You contradicted yourself.

It's not your fault in the slightest if the data is so complicated that nobody else except a statistician could do better.

I think you did a great job.

Complicated roleplaying games like this with this much data are possible on a forum thread, but certainly aren't easy and require a GM (and usually a co-GM or two) with an overabundance of free time. The fact that you got as far as you did without any help is admirable.

Yes, but I saw the Titanic moment as we were getting started, and just like Titanic plowed into it at full steam. A better GM....no, a better person would have stopped, huddled, and figured out how to get help.

I feel for ya, @BKGlover . One person couldn't have done this alone. But the fact that you have made it last this long, is astonishing. 👍

The counterpoint is that I knew what was coming and ran face-first for it. That negates any positives. Basically, I knew my game would fail, and I did it anyway. What does that say about how arrogant and ignorant I am, two traits I absolutely despise.

Mmm, yeah...it doesn't say anything about those traits. Why wouldn't you run face-first for something you're really in to, especially something on the Internet that's just a game for fun? In the end, we all had fun while it lasted, and if you had stopped and thought about it it might have never even gotten started.

@BKGlover, you are not at fault at all, in any way shape or form. You simply took on a task that you really wanted to do, unforseable time problems disallowed you to do what you wanted to do to the best of your ability. I will say it again, you are not at fault. You do not need to apologise, you should be congratulated for taking on such a goliath task that few others have done before.
