There is a small chance that I will not be able to participate today. :grumpy:
I am on call today, and I have family headed over tonight. I have already asked for someone to cover for me during the race, but if my family shows up I might have to drop out. 👎
I have my fingers crossed that they will be 20-30min late, giving me a little seat time with you guys.
I will keep everyone posted. :gtpflag:

Jonerz, can you move me to the reserves list? I still plan on racing, just not every week, and there may be someone who could use the guaranteed spot :)

Lobby room is now up. 1472 6118 4259 7713 4961

(Not in my lounge, as I still don't have everyone as a friend.)

I'm done.

I was spun out for no reason during practice. I was dive-bombed and almost taken out during qualifying. Then to top it all off, someone decided to learn against me in order to pass me on lap 3, without giving the spot back, per the OLR rules.

3 incidents. 3 different people. I refuse to put myself in that situation again.

everyone got kicked at the same time accept for me i finished the race by myself.
and the timer after the race was set at 10 seconds

Again dude.....that was NOT a dive bomb. REAL RACING etiquette says when a faster driver catches you in quali you give him the corner. Your entry was so slow and wide I thought you were.

That said, we didn't touch and neither of us went off.....I'm not seeing any problem here.

Man, that is weird. We lost you, but I experienced a strange jump too. Result was like hitting an oil patch. Race ended normally for us though...

You were a full car length behind me going into the braking zone. You had made no indication of attempting to pass me until I turn in and all of a sudden see you dive in on the inside. We're both lucky I'm aware enough to pick up on it in time.

I was practically PUSHING you down the straight....that is not a car length...

Yeah it was ALL you......that's why we didn't have an accident.

Gotta change me to a Camaro don't you.

BTW the replay is pretty exciting at the front for the first 22 laps....and clean.

I should have 2 stopped.

ALSO.....what the heck button on the DFGT flashes the lights? I thought I was flashing the lights at the slower cars.....turns out I was turning my wipers on!! DOH!!

Then you would have pulled along side me BEFORE the braking point. :dunce:

Yea us 3 had an awesome race then we started spreading out, I was running out of tires. I cant believe I kept up with the Camaros, I knew I could do it and never gave up. Then more surprising, we ended up laping the 3rd place. CRAZY!

Do you have any REAL racing experience? I do and I'll be damned if you're going to lecture me on racing etiquette.

There was no accident.....there was no contact.....therefore there was NO issue.....get over it.

If every pass had to start with the cars side by side before the braking zone there would be a hell of a lot less passing going on.

In the first 15 laps or so I had a tick on you but it wasn't enough to initiate any sort of pass. You brake so deep there was no way for me to go in any deeper.....example my outbraking myself into turn 1 trying to get you! If only I hadn't effed up the first corner run wide letting you two by!

I really enjoyed it. Like I said only my 4th proper online race.

I was braking deep as I was running out of tires and was trying to hold you. If you had passed me, it would be over for me as I knew you would get away. Then lap 21 me and lucky get damaged from the 370Z and had to pit. That messed up my pit strategy. But I was able to come back. 👍 One of the most exciting races I ever had! :)

In all honestly. No, I don't. That's why I play this game, because it's likely the closest I'll ever get to the real thing.

I don't play this game to spun out during practice by idiots, to almost get wrecked by someone while on a hotlap in qualifying, and I certainly don't play to have Sach22 pretend I don't exist and plow right through me to pass me in a hairpin.

Now, I've had a chance to sleep on it, and I'm still done with this series. I refuse to drive in a series with people like that.

Jonerz, this has absolutely nothing to do with you. The improvement's you've made to this since Daytona have been great. But at the end of the day, no matter how well a series is run, if you have people like rejekteds15 and Sach22 wrecking people all the time, it's hard to have fun.

Well I could complain about being blocked on a hotlap in qualifying.

That's fine......would have been good to have you because you are clean but that's your choice.

If you change your mind you know where to find us.

Edit.....Hey Mule, I want to PM you but your inbox is full.....make some room will yah?

Rejekted definitely has to be kicked out. Got my car damaged and pit stop strategy ruined because of him. Daytona was even worse for some people because of him! Joner you already gave him a 2nd chance and he failed, I say just kick him, he's not up to this kind of racing at all, or any racing. I lapped how many times yesterday? 4? 5? LOOOL

Definately think he need more practice before joining our proper races. I'm up for practicing with him if he needs.

He was a definate huge improvment over Daytona but still needs time.

The biggest issue I had with him was him not realising he was being lapped. At one point he raced the 3 of us down the back straight as we were lapping him.....he should have just pulled offline and let us through.

But that comes with time and experience. I may be as inexperienced as him with regards to online racing but I have years or real racing experience that helps me manage my track position and know where I am with relation to other drivers. I think he just needs more time and practice.

Because this is a fairly serious series I say he should not be allowed back until he can demonstrate awareness of the race around him.

That said, I'm willing to run practice races with him to help him if he wants.

He needs to understand the basics of racing. Until then, I say, he should just stay out. I get scared having him around, while other drivers, like you, I feel comfortable with.

yeah he was a lap down on me i think and im an St car

but onto Grand Valley East a track that i rate as my favorite track of all time in GT5 :D

I agree he's hard to navigate...you never know where he's gonna go or what he's gonna do.

That's why I suggest we help him out in some practice races. But he has to stay out of the actual races until he improves.

I think we can get him there, he just needs a little help.

That's my thought on it anyway.
