Can you tell me how much the Pocher F40 weighs? It seems pretty heavy judging by the scale. :scared:

5 kgs.

That dash on the F40, you need to get it flocked the right color man :P
Nah, I'll leave it as it is :sly: - I don't think it will be possible to disassemble it. Can't remember how I put it together.

For anyone interested in a TestaRossa F40 with a transkit assembly, have a look at this.
Warning:
It's a loooooong thread with pics.
It's all in Dutch but the pics say enough.

^ Probably one of my most special 1/43 models, a LookSmart Italdesign/Lamborghini Cala. Also one of my most detailed 1/43's, and hand built in Italy. Got it for $65 new (supposed to be $140 USD) :sly:

Indeed I am. eBay lol
The friend that found it on eBay also got one, though he paid like $5 more lol.

I love Ebay. I spotted several Audi R15 models listed with bids starting at $75,95 or Buy it now prices at $114,95.

Then I spotted a 99,8% positive feedback Italian modelcar shop listing the same Norev Audi R15 at a £49,99 starting bid. I made him a £40 offer and amazingly enough he went for it. So I've basically bought a 1:18 Norev Audi R15 for only $65 with $20 in shipping costs.

But then there are those who try to lure people into bidding ridiculous prices by putting "VERY RARE!!11!!" behind the item name. Like the #26 1998 Le Mans winning Porsche 911 GT1. Some of them are asking up to $80 and beyond for a model made by Maisto... I've currently got a bid going on the #25 car which came in second in '98, with a bid at just £10 right now...

Want!! I'm always surprised how big and fat that car looks next to other GT racers.

Got to have myself one of those Sumo Power GT-R's someday 👍

Here are my latest two purchases. Haven't arrived yet, but with the holidays I don't expect them to be here shortly just yet:

1:18 Minichamps Peugeot 908 HDI FAP (2009 Le Mans winner)

I'm very exited about the R15 👍

Got that Peug in 1:43, I wanted to get that R15 too (1:43) but saw this:
37648.jpg

Spark TS030 1 of 500 made. Need moar Toyota. Thank you for coming back to WEC :D

I'll get that R15 another time :D make sure you show us some pics when you get them! They look very nice!

AMG, that Enzo looks so small. Almost can't believe it when I look at my own 1:18's.. Pretty awesome 👍

Those 1:43 TS030's are so ridiculously expensive! I'll probably wait until one pops up as an Ebay auction.

What is ridiculously expensive? They aren't cheap but here I thought they were okay. Don't know what shipping costs are for you.

Awesome, so odd that someone made a model of that car!!

Carlos, does CK Models ship worldwide?
Im looking at some #72 C6R Corvette's they have.

As far as I know, they do. P&P is 25€ though. Considering the packaging, which should survive a minor earthquake, that's still adequate.

just ordered this! should have it in a few days

Ebbro 1:43 S Road NDDP GT-R SUPER GT300 2012

Looks fantastic! I got a plain body version of the GT1 version. Looks quite intimidating next to most other GTs. Really nice car you ordered!

I am so in love with Autoart..

It inspired me to do something, extraordinary, First i took a model 1:64 from motormax(lexus LS430) and completely detailed it, and by detailing i went so far as to add carpet. needless to say Autoart is such an inspiration.

But back on topic... i just cant see my self collecting non Japanese race cars...I mean when i do get race cars they are ALWAYS Japanese and are either a plain body version, or an old japanese GT under 1997. tamiya 1:24 JGTC cars mostly make up my race car collection... my favorite being the Nismo Clarion GTR LM..<3. But also have 2 models from Autoart 1:18 calsonic R32 race car and 1999 calsonic R34 GT500..

DSCN9774.jpg

It's an amazing model, and a steal at 140$ with 13$ shipping.

132844d1354662223-gran-turismo-5-gt5-nissan_calsonic_skyline_gt-r_race_car_93.jpg

Favorite race car in the game..

But to be honest, I wouldn't mind getting my hands on some plain body GT1's... saw one on eBay new..going for 120$ free shipping..and i let it slip by, never lived it down.

But, the good thing about eBay is NO model is rare. they will show up eventually, always.

And even though you will see title "!!!!!!RARE!!!!!!HARD TO FIND!" in reality, it will pop up over and over again, like the Lexus GS300...

I say this because instead of spending 160$(not to mention the expedited shipping) on a White R34 vspec II(one of the first editions) i could have won the 60$ auction the following day.... But oh well, atleast i got my model.

Also i want to state something, i feel sometimes people are forgetting the point of collecting, now it seems it's all about the size of the collection rather then just focusing on the models, but thank god this thread is not like that, i can see the love you all share with your models, and thats a very good thing.

On the topic of AutoART... Where is that Mercedes CLR :(

Their CLK GTR is a whopping $500, but I am so gutted absolutely no one makes a 1:18 CLR.

Slick looking R32, engine looks really good
Thanks phill, i love it, very nice model, and very special to me, But i also like the white R34...it is incredibly beautiful will have pics soon, also just bought 2 nismo R tunes on ebay for the price of one, one silver and one red,

Next up to complete my GTR collection, R32 and R33, not sure to go with midnight purple or Lemans blue, I already have a R33 in midnight purple in 1:43 scale from ebbro, so maybe a 1:18 would be a great match. And a white R32 Autoart would match up well with my 1:43 scale white R32 from kyosho:tup: ....Man i love collecting, ..gets expencive thought but hey "labor of love!"....also, can you tell i love skylines yet?

Also funny the GTR R34 being
so popular...only two manufactures made them in 1:18 scale, Autoart and motormax

I have both though in my GTR collection with the Motormax being extremely rare, especially in midnight purple which is painted nicely for a budget model(well budget model at the time, also funny enough the Motormax R34 is based off Motorex conversion so it is LHD.. it's extremely weird looking yet very cool at the same time, As for the body the motormax, displays very well with the autoart, Panel gaps are very tight, headlights and tailights are nicely detailed, especially the reflective peices in the tailight, similar to the autoart, paint is top notch with no orange peel at all, wheels...though slightly out of scale are finished nicely, aswell as the brakes and rotors which are both independent, the interior peices are smooth rather then rough and edgy, seats are soft and seat belts are actually separate and fairly detailed( not as much as the autoart) As a "past" mid budget(60$ new from store) i am extremely impressed,
Just no carpet...though i fixed that:tup:

talking about rare models the ones im amazed at are the early evo's and impreza's.

a couple of years ago you couldnt even pay someone to take them away in fact i bought 2 white evo 7's for £10 now they seem to be making nearly £100 on ebay.

1:43 2011 Falken Porsche #34 (Spark); 1 of 300 special edition for ck models

1:43 2011 SuperGT tripleA Vantage (Ebbro)

That's my idea of car porn. I mean, come on, just look at it! It's the replacement from ck models, and that's a mint specimen, first one's decals were a bit skewed.

I'll do better shots once my lightbox is up and running ;)

And a bit off topic:

Must have when/if it ever comes out as a 1:43!:nervous:

Will post some up-close images of it tonight 👍

On that, my Spark model still hasn't arrived. And yet it was dispatched a week earlier than the Minichamps. The Minichamps arrived with UPS, the Spark is being shipped with DHL. I am starting to wonder whether DHL is shipping to Namibia instead of Norway :scared:

OK that tears it, Im getting a Minichamps 908. Especially with the prices now.
Please post those close up shots soon!
It would look good next to my Autoart C5R too. :)
