Awesome JDM goodness, that SW20 MR-2 and the yellow EK9 catch my eye and remind me of Initial D somewhat.

Had a nice Lemans racer arrive in the mail today, pics to follow soon!

I love the JDM goodie Torque! :)👍 Especially those Skylines, Subies, Toyotas and everyone else in that group.

Oh yeah, do they have any scales of the HKS CT230R TA Evo, Amuse S2K GT1, or a Top Secret/Mine's/Tommy Kira R34 GTRs? Love to have those on my JDM collection one day.

I only have a mind boggling total of 13 Japanese cars in 1/43, out of 81 cars total. Got a lot more Japanese cars in 1/18 though, as that is my primary scale ;)
I need to take more pics of my 1/43's sometime. Many of them only have maybe one or two pics of them lol...

Got this today, though the 917L wasn't as successful as the K, the 250mph it set back in the early 70's was insane!

With the 996 RSR, Martini livery looking sharp!

Lots of curves and a well finished back end.

Engine bay, can't really see the wires & tubing but it's there.
The metal prop rod is nicely done and fairly stiff.

In the cabin, doors feel nice and has flocked seat and dash.

Front frame, can see the pedal box that goes through to the cabin.

Some small attachment stubs in front lights and less engine detail then I hoped but thats nitpicking.
For the right price Im totally happy I gotta say. :)

Porn pornography pics

...God, i am going to buy one of them. and 250 mph..by any era is just insane but back then..amazing, crazy after that next next car to reach that speed would come from 1990 and be a one off, the Lotec C1000.

Venom800TT: Good to see another Japanese collector i would love to see your pics, I only have Four 1:18 scale japanese cars as far as premium brands are concerned. and 4 more on the way kyosho supra, NSX, 300zx, and RX7 FD...only thing im not looking forward to is the quality, back then they were incredible when they released.....but now so many years later they are showing they're age...Painted lights...some auxiliary lights aren't even painted ...but the details inside are timeless especially on the supra.

Autoart: Nissan skyline Vspec II nur in Pearl white.

Great collection, I like your taste in the Pajero, Also who makes that Ram? And at first i thought that was a Kato RZ..Man i wish i could find a Ebbro Supra RZ..id'e buy it in a heart beat...last one i saw on eBay..back when i was jobless it was 120$..

Also, you ever find it weird how they don't produce cars like the RX7 and supra anymore in 1:18? ...last company to produce a 1:18 of those cars were fast and the furious racing champions. i mean motormax do make a 1:24 RX7,Supra and 300zx...but i'm not into 1:24 diecast, but into plastic kits in that scale...

TorqueHappenS08, that is very impressive 👍 Thanks for taking the time to take a photo of each model!

 Nice!! I have the 917 too, the hippie version. True, it's not the most detailed model, but hey, it's a 917!!!

The Dodge Ram was made by Spark. They are kinda hard to find now tho...
When I get off of work I will have to post my 1/43 model list. Need to update my 1/18 list before I post it.
And yeah, a lot of 90's JDM cars either haven't been made or made in good quality in 1/18. Z32 300ZX, 3000 GT, SW20/22 MR2 and many more.

Ah I saw that 917, it was actually the inspiration for me to get this!

So I did some research on 917's and this version of the L appealed the most to me though its not most successful.

And seeing all the JDM's I want a 1/43 Supra badly.

BMW 325is (E30) made by Otto-Mobile

This is the first resin model that I've ever purchased, and I wasn't sure what to expect quality wise. Typically, I would wait to buy one, especially since I've read some quality control horror stories about Otto, but this is the first 1/18 scale E30 model ever made, and I've seen Otto Mobile model prices go up significantly after release, so I figured I'll just snap it up now and at worst, sell it if it is really bad. I'm happy to report that overall, I'm very pleased with the model. It feels solid and well glued together, and overall just looks well done. Otto also did a very good job, I think, matching the Calypso Red paint on E30s. However, there are a couple of small paint blemishes, a couple of the plastic windows have light scratching on it, and a couple of parts have some slight fit and finish problems/misalignment. Also, I am somewhat disappointed that the wheels don't turn, and the doors, trunk and hood don't open, though I knew that before buying it. This ain't no CMC, not even AutoArt quality, but it's decent.

If anything, there are a few detail nit-picking inaccuracies on the car that irks me quite a bit, though they are really only ones that a E30 owner would know about. Biggest thing is that the model only has one cooling slot under bumper, in the lower valence. This is true on certain E30s, but the 325is have an additional cooling slot for the oil cooler radiator. That is not modeled correctly. Also, the model 325is came with what's called an "i lip" at the front bottom of the car while a real 325is came with what's called an "is lip" that is thicker than the "i lip." They often fall off when the front of the car scrapes the road, and many owners simply put an "i lip" back on, but that is not how they came from the factory. In the interior, the rear parcel shelf and the rear seat back don't fit right and are lacking features.

Despite all my misgivings, I'm really just picking at the details. For those of you in Europe, this model really isn't expensive at all (for me, the shipping was half the cost of the model...). However, as I said, I think it's overall a well made model, and I'm really excited to finally see an E30 made in 1/18 scale.

A couple final pictures:

Anyone know where I can find a cheap 1/18 veyron besides Ebay?

Cheap... and 1/18 Veyron? In your dreams....

AutoArt is the best way to go in this one.

And those are gonna be $180-250

Better Off bidding a praying for the best..though i got my veyron for 150$ score, and it's the production model, not the concept one.

I'm going down the custom route for the liveries anyway just having issues finding a base model, only white and blue base colours i can get a police cars.

EVO X from Vitesse, good quality model for 39.94 tax, shipping already included:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mitsubishi-...615&pid=100033&prg=1011&rk=1&sd=271145286027&

Funny, Vitesse seems to be the only premium brand that makes the EVO X in 1:43 scale... in Street car forum.

Hi-Story mini car has an Street EVO X, but it's 150$...

Also I'd like to add, if anyone is new to the world of 1:43 scale models, Don't expect them to be cheap, most of them are just as expensive or more expensive then most artoart 1:18 or kyosho

But crazy expensive is getting into the Looksmart Hand built from scratch models.

I have... 4 veyrons...

Red/black production- AA
White/blue production-AA
Concept vr.- AA
And... the AA all blue edition. (Forgetting the correct name temporarily...

The concept one seems to be getting harder and harder to find...

Hopefully soon theyll make the SS and convertible versions...

In conclusion. .. hope and pray for a sub $200 ebay auction.

I have the concept one (I think, silver with tan interior) got it long ago.I like how there's a switch for the wing to pop up. Nothing extraordinary about the model itself but nice nontheless.

Yep thats the one. Silver/grey...

Some of you might be aware that I had some issues with a model not arriving some months ago. Well after a month the people who I ordered it from shipped me a new one, and that one arrived within a week.

So today my mother sends me an email that I've received a modelcar in the mail, yet I didn't order anything since January or so. My brother opened the box and told me it was a model I already had.

So now I have a double model, and I'm wondering what I should do with it. Either I'm a good guy and ship it back, which would cost me money. Or I make some money off of it since CK Modelcars told me the package was lost months ago. After all, it is a $150 model. I'm guessing this was the model that was first shipped and got lost with DHL.
