The magnet is super powerful and took me a good 15/20 mins to get it to float, if you don't get the angle straight on and just pulls the car onto the base, the me fusion broke off when it caught my finger so will need to glue that back on

There is a high probability I will get that CMC Birdcage, though I have no idea when. I really would like for them to re-release the 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupe someday, as I really want it, but not for the prices what few show up on Ebay go for. Also thinking of getting an LM running Testarossa from CMC.

I will be selling the Birdcage in the future. I'll notify you when it happens.

I would buy an SLR McLaren if the re-released it. 250 Testarossa I plan on getting as well. Other than that I'd like to hunt down a 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé and the Maserati Birdcage like AOS posted. Their 250 GTO and DB4 Zagato I'd love to have, but their $400+ price tags keep me from getting them...

On that note, I went through CMC's catalog and found myself not hugely attracted to anything, which makes my reason for obtaining a CMC very questionable.

If anything, I suppose it would be a Maserati 250F or some Auto Union.

CMC cars are great but except the 312 P, I'm not interested in any of the models they've produced...
Quick question, quality wise: CMC or Exoto?

They're both almost neck and neck in quality and details really.

It then comes down to a matter of which target audience you fall under.

I had the chance to see briefly a Ferrari 500 F2, Exoto (owner for 2 days, you may remember I had to return back the car because damaged) and CMC did both a great job.
The Exoto looked more appealing to me, maybe for the fire engine red and the racing number, while the CMC looked somewhat more detailed.

Exoto= a model car, the option every petrolhead should go for.
CMC= a jewel, the option for a more sophisticated and limited collector.

One thing I cam think of that I like about CMCs is how you can disassemble each wheel. I didn't know if Exoto has any models that do that too.

Most Exotos do, my 934 Standox does. My TSM Lotus 56 and GMP Ferrari 312PB do as well.

Yep, my C9 came with a screwdriver, and I've also seen a disassembled FW14B and an R89C.
Unfortunately both 641/2 and 312 T4 don't have this feature...just like your XJR-9.

I have a scale Target IndyCar, a Lamborghini Diablo, a Ferrari F40, and a Ferrari California. I do have a Mustang, but it's an RC car that I fished out of the garbage a a couple years ago.

I love that 250 GT0. Also, what's that white one? 365?

Speaking of Ferraris, I nearly picked up a 1/18 Kyosho F40.
Yep, a 365 GTB/4 Competizione. Both it and the 250 GTO are Kyoshos. And the Kyosho F40 is great, I have a yellow one myself. Some people say the shape is slightly off, but I honestly can't tell lol...
Oh, and some day I will get some real metal wire wheels for the Kyosho GTO. The plastic wheels just ain't realistic enough compared to the rest of the model.

Also, apparently I didn't share photos of the Spark Porsche WSC-95, so here is a sample and link:

Are you planning on getting the '97 car as well? I'm not sure if I want to keep mine. It sits in between my 993 GT2 Champion Racing UT Models, and the '97 996 GT1 UT Models, both models I doubt will ever get me some coin as the GT1 is too generic to be worth anything, and the 993 GT2 is having worn out paint.

I'm not sure what it would cost me to ship to Canada, though...

I know I'd be interested in it, depending on shipping costs lol...
