I like those a lot! Where did you find the Rubystone one? I can only find the Maritime Blue one.
The Ruby one is a few years old, I believe it was an Asia region exclusive and was limited to 504 peices. You may see some on Ebay but might be pricey, I got mine when it was available at retail.

Some more Marketplace finds:

Just got the new 992 GT3 RS by Spark 1:43
Very cool! I am patiently waiting for a 1/18 version of the 992 RS. There are a few out already but way too expensive.

I think I can post these here... This Subaru 22B from Solido, bought at the Lohéac Manor of the Automobile museum. 30th birthday present to myself a few weeks ago. Had to have my favorite car, yknow?
Been meaning to grab one of these myself, it's a great model for the price.

I went to an amazing model shop in Benidorm, Spain yesterday and spent a good hour deciding on what to buy. If luggage space wasn't an issue, I could have easily have spent more. The 1:24 scale Citroen and Ibiza rally car are ridiculously good models for the scale and only €32 each. The only criteria I set myself is I wanted to buy models of 90s cars.

Solido E36 M3 modified.

Visited Autopassion in the Netherlands.
Downstairs is a small display of the car the owners races himself.
A wall with racinghelmets (Hill, Schumacher, Senna, Irvine, Peterson, Patrick, et cetera) also some nice exclusive BBR and Exoto models.
Upstairs a wide variety of sportscars, mainly F1 and Le Mans. Ordered by brand, drivers and some really special ones with special pricetags in bigger 1/8 scale.

I picked up my annual Verstappen model together with my 7 year old son.
He was allowed to sit in a Formule 3 car and was like a kid in a scalemodel shop. Just like his dad…

So what you're saying is there were two kids in a scale model shop. :D
Jokes aside, that sounds like an amazing place to be. If only it wasn't so far away from where I am, I'd love to visit.

Well, can’t deny that my son was more mature then me there… 🤓

Aixam Mega Track (Ixo) & Porsche 959 Gruppo B (MR Collection) 1/43

Hello, mates.

This post is dedicated to interesting and revolutionary track and offroad vehicles in motor history – the well known all-wheel drive champion Porsche 959 and the much less popular, super rare and extremely unique French mega-track. Models are in on a 1/43 scale.

The second version of 959 Gruppo B prototype with series body and freaking awesome turbo rims. The first ever prototype model with significantly different frontal optics was also produced at 1/43 scale by Spark, it is still on the waiting list of mine). The model was made by MR Collection, and it’s limited to 100 pcs. The current model is #66.

The Aixam Mega Track is a massive offroader with a sports copy body, powered by a Merc V12. It was only 5 produced in this exact body version. The current 1/43 of the Mega track model was made by Ixo/Altaya. I like this version more for its better front optics with black frame.

The weight of the 1:1 Mega Track car is more then 2 tons, and the length of the body exceeds 5 meters! To compare: the length of 959 is only 4:26 meters. So you can see the actual body size difference in the photos. It’s huge. And its sports body type and shape really cause cognitive dissonance when you look at her.

Some photos of these all all-wheel drive beauty queens in our grayscale studio. Enjoy ^_^

All these models are just flawless. Can't find any defects and the moulds are so accurate to the real thing. They don't come cheap but the quality is top notch, much like the model car segment. What a time to be alive. I am delighted to see this once extremely niche hobby explode in popularity. The shop I go to is stacked with models every time I visit, and I never leave dissatisfied. It's crazy. There are boxes stacked on top of boxes, some being close to 2 metres tall. It's impossible to get a bad model these days because the segment is just soo competitive. NG, the makers of the Southwest 737's, have pushed the likes of Gemini Jets into making more accurate moulds with extra details. The best thing? It's the consumers that win big, hence why I keep coming back.
